  • it's weird BT works at all, haven't tried myself, but apparently usb connection is essensial for BT to work, even the manual say explicitly to connect the usb cable: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/card_manual_gc-wb1733d-i_20241120.pdf

    as for wifi itself i'd try to enable the M2_2 port and take the disk out of it

    alternatively you could try using some risers to access x1 port under the GPU, but then using usb adapter would be a lot easier

  • most wifi pcie cards should work better than usb dongle (vastly better signal with external antennas), also bt on those cards works on usb (little cable you connect to your mobo), so it's weird it became buggy. It seems all pcie slots on that mobo except the main one are pcie 2.0, the last one (long one) has 4 lanes so it should work fine, comparing to pcie 2.0 x1 slot you were probably using before, BUT:

    PCI_E4 slot will be unavailable when an M.2 SSD is installed in the M2_2 slot.

    maybe that's why your card became buggy? wifi isn't working because there's no pcie signal in the slot and bt is buggy because there's less power form the slot? that's my guess

    anyway what's your GPU? is it really taking 3 slots?

  • We’re American so from a cultural standpoint circumcision is the default choice

    Sounds weird AF, I mean I'm not American, I've heard about circumcision fad in US but i just didn't knew the scale. Internet says the circumcision rates are falling, so maybe it won't have such effect on your son as it had on your friend. My guess is it's easier to keep the head clean without smegma collecting under the.. hood, hence women's preference of foreskinless penises. On the other hand for us uncircumcised people it feels uncomfortable as hell to have glans uncovered, just for it to rub on the underwear etc. my guess it makes the head less sensitive in the long run. Anyway I hope the doctor won't make a mistake during the procedure

  • The thing is my wife cannot fathom she's the toxic one, every time I mention it she gaslights me and says I'm victimizing myself, frankly her habit of belittling me at every step of so engrained in her everyday life that she doesn't notice it at all, like basic things, her tone etc, sometimes she tries to justify that behavior because she's doing everything and I'm just sitting don't nothing, because she is the victim, and I should mam up and stop whining etc

  • I'm currently living with my toxic wife because in case of a divorce I'd have to rent an apartment (we live at her parents), buy and maintain a car (Europe here, we can perfectly live with one car per household), pay child support and try to live on top of that

    Also I'm kinda too lazy for that
