lol, well ... let me clarify the "beautiful" comment ...
so a coworker won "Most Attractive Employee" or something like that, yes it's a weird company party. Anyways, the next morning I was using it pseudo-sarcastically in front of everyone by calling him a beautiful person in front of everyone. However, my other coworker thought I was talking about him and said "thank you". However, it made him smile and I just started doing it all the time to my fellow coworkers. I definitely consider them all mates.
What's funny is that I actually don't compliment my female coworkers the same way. I feel as though it could be misconstrued and I'd not like that.
lol I told some of my coworkers, "how're you doing you beautiful man" ... they're like, "thank you for saying that"
of course, you have to have a certain relationship where it doesn't come off too weird but dudes complimenting dudes should be normalised.
I wonder if dudes complimenting other dudes mainly applies to like "skills". Like you're a great fisherman or driver or coder or something. I wonder if those are more typical?
When I was younger and read these articles. I was so stupid. Like, the articles were like, "she was pretending to be a man all this time!" I was like, "omg, she must have tricked that poor woman in a relationship all that time, how sad" in my defense these articles danced around the fact that they likely had to hide this due to prejudice or whatever.
Odd question but why does it have to be clone? What about a sibling or perhaps a twin? Or are those effectively equivalent too and I'm just splitting hairs?
Well I mean later on in the bit he also talks about only needing to wash: armpits, asshole, crotch and teeth and you'd save time by using the same brush.
I'm certain if he was alive today he'd rip these morons apart.
Whenever these things come up you always hear "then the company won't survive!"
CEO and managers make bank somehow but it doesn't matter that the workers can't live on that wage. It's always so weird how when workers actually take a pay cut, that the businesses get used to it. When the CEOs get bonuses they have to get used to that too.
Yeah, I'm not in any way medically anything but I think I remember Dr Mike or one of those talking about how brain death is considered death or something like that.
I remember somewhere they were saying you should remove your clothes (slowly piece by piece) with a polar bear. The bear will get distracted and start sniffing your clothes.
I think it was a QI episode and then David Mitchell said something like that Polar Bear being happier in the fact that the human would be better to eat this time because it didn't have a wrapper.
