  • Actually there was a story where Scrooge McDuck uses a mirror satellite to shine sunlight on a factory of him to cut down costs at night time. He even starts selling it to citizens of Duckburgh. That must have been a story from the 70s.

  • I kill myself. If I have learned anything from books and movies, it's that you don't fuck with time travel.

  • Where you own nothing as well. People have become comfortable with that thought since Steam launched, today they love it.

Ubisoft just said it out loud. Fuck them all!

  • Nobody seems to have watched it, but "Counterpart". It's a mind fuck Science Fiction show. Only 20 episodes, so manageable.

It was cancelled, but the writers knew beforehand and wrote an absolute perfect conclusion for the last episodes.

Also it's best to go in blind. There are events predicted in the show that later happened for real (I don't want to spoil it), and it's fun to think "oh that is how and why it happened"!

    Also J.K. Simmons. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counterpart_(TV_series)

I can't recommend this show enough.

  • Beyond the infinite two minutes. Quirky sci fi, one take movie, mind fuck. And adorable.

  • You're implying that the next Black Panther could be played by Tom Cruise. I'm not sure I'd be happy about that.

  • Same. We had fun, and the music was great! Also young Samuel L. Jackson!

  • Unintentionally by the developers, but yes, absolutely! Good one!

  • The final battle in Star Trek 25th Anniversary (before it was patched). It's just not possible to win this!

  • Upvote for mentioning House. House and House II deserve better than being forgotten.

  • In the sequel of The Thing they first used animatronics and later replaced them with CG. I'm still angry about what could have been an awesome movie. With CG it looks just bad.

  • I just googled and read the movie is rated R in the US! And Coming to America too!

Here they are rated 12, 6 if adults are present.

So your comment made me smile a bit.

  • This and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation have been our family Christmas movies for decades!

  • Ace Ventura. I love the shower scene, it's hilarious, but today it's unthinkable to make a scene like this.

  • Oh, I was talking about the gog installers. It's advised by gog to keep the installers after you bought the game.

I guess you meant illegal copies, and you are right, in that case the police would definitely knock on a Sunday morning.

  • And how would they do that? Knock on my door on a Sunday morning, enter and trash my external hard drives where I keep the backup installers?

  • It's from a time the new era started to take off while most ordinary people (and filmmakers) had no idea what was really coming. Nor did they really understand any of it. Like Hackers this makes The Net extremely interesting to watch, it's not good, but it just keeps on giving!

  • When I realized this I decided to turn off my views on my own up and down votes. I had no idea how relaxing it is to just post and not give a fuck what people think. The opposite thinking was drilled into me by Reddit pretty well over the years. I'm so glad I escaped that shithole.

Still, if you do this, please don't be an asshole!

  • I guess it's back to good old forums, hosted in Mukibukistan on the other side of the world.

Wouldn't be such a bad thing.
