  • You may be forgetting that Biden sponsored the start of the genocide. Tens of thousand were murdered through his support. Its painful to hear and I'd love to just blame it on the republicans, but aipac utterly owns both parties and pretending that isnt so just keeps us trapped in this forever.

  • the democratic party will actively try to eff us over like they always do. We have to hold them accountable for their actions or we may as well just let AIPAC openly run the party.

  • What if we just gave the Argentinian team to ICE.

You know you paused just now and considered it for a second.

  • We're not all dumb, some of us are just full of hate, fears, and insecurities.

  • I think it'd be a lot easier and smarter for Bernie to convince the centrist dem leadership to stop supporting genocide and at least pretend to give a crap about the needs of the voters than bernie asking all dem voters to support genocide (thats implicitely what he is doing if we are real about his ask) and to support a dem party that ignores the peoples needs.

  • If I understand your comment, you are framing this as republicans looking to split the dems using propoganda. I think its much more complicated than that. It's a fact that traditional Dem voters are far past focussing solely on republicans as the root of all of our problems. Dems and republicans have 26-27% of the voter registrations each and independents are 45%. You can only eff Dem voters in the rear and ignore their problems so many times (while committing a massively unpopular genocide for donations) before Dem voters stop considering their party as representing them-- and they'll sit on the couch when they do.

Its convenient for people to pretend its a dem vs republican fight, but its really dem vs republicans vs couch. Couch is doing really well lately. People are sick of Trump's idiocy and also sick of the DNC's incompetence, self interest, and outright treachery. There is no democracy here until we make it happen.

  • I liked the community overall. Spez and the mods in general though are what I dislike. Centrism and zionism are king there. So its a propoganda site and thus needs to go away.

  • yes, It cant possibly be the DNC centrists fault, who have been in charge forever. Its dem socialists who are to blame. Why did Omar and AOC do this to all of us?

    /s

  • Not sure. Maybe we rally around Schumer for president, 2028? At least we know what his platform is.

    /s.

  • Part of the problem is the DNC rigging past primaries against exactly the sort of change people want. But this time will the DNC pinky swear to run a clean and fair primary?

  • Polling show that Dems are unenthusiastic about voting in general lately.

I guess the question becomes who is angrier at their default party and will now refuse to vote with them: previously-republicans or previously-democrats? The largest registration anymore is "independent", by a lot.

  • Lets give the DNC football to Lucy. This is for the game, folks. It's all up to Charlie Browns kick.

  • Individual US states cant leave peacefully, or the US west coast would have long ago. Our federal laws wont allow it-- its basically declaring war. Except for texas, they made a deal when they joined that they can leave when they want to.If Canada/Britain or Mexico would agree to take the defecting states on they'd stand a snowballs chance, but otherwise not so much.

  • Just 2 years and 5 months to go of trumps presidency. We're 39.6% of the way done with him. The poor in the red states will probably be dead by then, social security gone and the dollar, global trade and markets permanently ruined, but at least it'll be over. We'll undoubtedly be at war then too, with someone or another. Probably an ally.

  • Mostly I just want reddit to die. I'll savor my joys when I can.

  • this person goes by what people say rather than what they actually do, which is the oldest political trick in the book.

  • I question the value of reddit's leaderships addiction to selling our content and sucking up to rich zionists.
