Metrolist will have one limitation. I don't think Google allows for High quality music streaming (which I think is 256 kbps on their part) on free accounts, so it would be impossible for the app to bypass that.
Though if someone has YouTube Premium, one can as of now, use yt-dlp to download songs from YT Music in High Quality via --export-cookies flag.
