"Best executed" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, and your definition of "best" seems to be serving economic outcomes rather than civilizational ones.
Is it because enforcement of systemic bureaucratic hierarchies leads to dehumanization, which creates friction & resentment that build over time until individuals inevitably lash out?
Or like, something close to that? I'd love to hear more.
I wouldn't call that better "quality", I'd call it greater detail. More colours doesn't automatically equal better and the same is true for details or digitilization
90's Canadian rock, with "Shortcut to Moncton" as my favourite track, and "One More Astronaut" as the album's biggest single. I listened to this one end to end so many times, and there's not a bad song on it, my fave just in terms of number of listens. It's aged okay. I don't replay it obsessively like I did in my late teens
