The bed should only be used for sleeping, when you wake up get out of bed and don't go back. Don't use your laptop or phone in bed, if you still have a tv - don't watch it in bed.
This helps set the situational subconscious expectation that the bed is for sleeping.
Most of it doesn't matter, so summaries aren't of much use. You do occasionally get the year in review compilations.
Very important stuff is going to stay relevant, in the new cycle, in your community social circle, for a long period of time. So you'll be kept abreast of it that way
Some teachers would take the cliff notes for a book their classes reading, and make sure none of their questions were mentioned or relevant to the cliff notes themselves. So you could have real bangers of tests that ask weird ass questions that no reasonable person would remember from the book. What color was the dance card given to the main protagonist and The Great Gatsby dance scene?
So you end up with tests that are just trivia, and don't talk about any thematic issues, or generally recognize themes or takeaways. Crazy times
