  • Yeah, the impacts to the university for bowing to these demands will last well past the trump administration.

  • Or in other words "Male enhancement" research

  • What a terribly worded article. It's not "running out of steam", this was completely avoidable. The Trump/Elon administration's policies and actions are literally knee-capping the economy.

  • Is there anything in law that states a child is a citizen through something other than birthright citizenship? I don't believe that every country grants citizenship to children automatically.

  • And even when it does, seems likely they'll just blame Trump and not the whole party that got them here.

  • Who could have seen this coming? /s

  • Even if it was getting slim enough to run on consumer grade hardware it wouldn't undercut the SaaS model.

I think the real thing, as others have mentioned, is that it's not reliable enough and everywhere I've seen it's been difficult to move the latest models past just being chatbots.

  • "OH no, we accidentally deployed ads to your car using a system that took months to develop, how could that have ever happened"

  • US has been in a rough spot on the tech side as all the big tech companies kicked off a layoff spree (assumed by many to chase profitable quarterly reports).

With Trump and Elon screwing with the federal government, even stable government jobs are now hurting.

  • Also it could lead to a mutation. Not sure how robust the measles vaccine is, but technically possible to produce something new.

  • I wasn't super thrilled about the idea myself, but with the ability to disable it I figured I'd give it a try.

Personally it's a really cool feature that adds to the experience.

  • I mean, yeah. Putin wants the US to do nothing and give them Ukraine, Ukraine wants the US to stay committed to past agreements and do something.

  • This has nothing to do with the federal budget. Congress already appropriated the money, this is just straight up evil.

  • Haha given Kevin Sorbos went down a similar path, this is pretty fitting.

  • I mean, the real issue is that everything is half truths. It allows peoe to glom onto whatever they want to hear or enough to rile people up without ever learning the full truth.

  • Yeah I was reading up on it recently and it's surprising that there were people tiptoeing around the Supreme courts decision, but at the end everyone did actually cave and either followed the ruling or it became a non issue.

  • I mean, actually yeah that graph does show a pretty stable value. Since 1980 it's gone frome ~$2.50 to $1.00 at a pretty steady rate. For all the financial chaos over that period of time that's a pretty straight line.

While there is inflation, it's been pretty consistently between 2-3% as targeted by the federal reserve, so basically the US dollar is doing what is being communicated, or in other words consistently performing.

  • People also seem to forget that we're basically using Ukrainians as cannon fodder so the US and Europe don't have to put our troops on the line to hold back Russia (not that Trump cares about keeping Russia in check).

  • I mean, a lot of TV has murders in it. There is a huge market for showing realistic murder.

But I get the feeling your saying that there isn't a huge market for showing real people dying realistically without their permission. But that's more a technicality. The question is, is the content or the production of the content illegal. If it's not a real person, who is the victim of the crime.
