  • I have some anonymous Corne board, some choc switches. I figured that that will either make me see the light or prove that too minimal is too minimal.

Layers I haven't really worked out yet, they're close to default qwerty fi/se with numbers and symbols etc on 2 3. I'll need to rethink that or read others' setups to figure out how to get usual key combinations on various systems.

But the main focus is typing practice and ergonomic testing. So far, so good for that.

  • The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai across Outer Worlds. I'd buy that for a dollar.

  • Lots of restaurants in Finland do that. It sort of works. Different, of course.

Some also sell dips on the side.

  • Would risk petting.

  • And since it's corporate property, you can just bill for damage and replacement and maintenance and don't need to deal with human issues.

  • Yeah. It's not required, but it helps.

  • I do feel like a Larry a lot of the time.

  • I need a map like this.

  • Here I am, still kicking myself for missing 80085 odometer reading on the only car I've had with that little on the clock.

  • Well, that's fine since it isn't 1982 anymore. Right?

  • https://torsion.org/borgmatic/ is nice for running a regular manual or automated Borg backup.

https://apps.gnome.org/en-GB/PikaBackup/ is also pretty neat if you want to clicky backup data as a user.

Both are common in package repos. And there's probably even more, but I'll mention those two just to point out that you don't have to script the raw Borg if you don't want to.

  • That's a lot of dollars when you could just admit that Microsoft is and always has been the problem.

  • Anything with red in it. There's a reason red flag is the term for red flag.

  • I'm at single digit TBs and dreading that a drive breaks and I need a new one. Not that I have a lot of free space either.

It's old-ish and maybe not the greatest work of art on screen, but I love that it had a very unique world and characters and humour and it keeps on developing and changing throughout.

It's been too long. I really kind of want to watch it again.

  • Sometimes called "A show about smart people for stupid people".
