Yeah it more applies to people who actually get their primary socialization time at work
A lot of people have social lives that are dominated by work relationships from being regular friends to hanging out after work and such
So wfh for them is basically just isolation because they never had to socialize for themselves, school and then work provided it by necessity and proximity
VPN usage to get around geo broadcasting is not popular in America so the most likely explanation almost certainly aligns with an explanation not involving vpn use (except hardcore fans would definitely use it)
So I think you’re actually wrong trying to deduce stuff from those stats and the reality is simply fewer Americans care about Winter Olympics (lotta stuff going on rn not just w Super Bowl too) + more people just watch clips off YouTube and TikTok and instagram/fb
That’s true winter isn’t as popular but between app subscribers and older gen with actual tv packages most will just watch it normally
But you’re right anyone legitimately into it will seek out a vpn but that’s still a small portion of the actual watchers. Most will tolerate the sloppy coverage or if it’s really that bad just turn it off and move on with their lives
Are you sure you’re not confusing what a want is with something that you don’t want?
For example you actually don’t want a wall-e chair because you would never actually accept one. Similarly, you don’t actually want a 20-liter bucket of fettuccine Alfredo because, again, you would never accept it.
A want is something you’d actually like to have so if you wouldn’t accept it that sounds like something you don’t want to have…
That makes sense since it’s basically fake research that doesn’t prove anything about the matter
