  • Democracy relies on transparency and verification, not trust. Any government official who tries to keep secrets from the public is an enemy of the People.

  • In other words, for everybody not in Michigan it's time to call up your senator and demand they get on the list.

  • Agreed with Weird Al, of course.

    Also, Tom Cardy.

This guy might be a one-hit wonder -- I haven't even checked out whatever else he might've done -- but I absolutely love that one video because I also played cello in school.

  • No, "soft skills" are things like being nice and working well with other people. Why the Hell would gamers have that?

  • female pilot voice

How male-dominated is that profession, anyway?

  • True

  • Obligatory:

  • And yet helping cause the alternative puts the blood on your hands anyway.

  • In this new round of American-style fascism, our government has been coerced into being taken over by an extreme right-wing contingent of American political life: Christian nationalists, white nationalists, neo-liberal economic extremists (which used to be called plain old conservative economics), conspiracy theorists, and narcissists. These people have an extreme and unbalanced worldview that flows from their political, economic, social, and emotional wants and needs instead of the fundamental human rights of citizens in a democracy.

Beyond the sociopolitical convenience of having a group to scapegoat and channel political action against, there is a genuine conservative hate for those that do not conform to general conceptions of gender and sexuality.

It's not actually even the slightest bit different from the Nazis, you know. They started with trans people too.

  • Your document is dated May 2026. The one I'm referencing is from September 2025. If you aren't pro-fascist you've already been considered an enemy of the state since then, whether you're trans, cis, or even a TERF.

  • They already declared "antifa" to be "terrorists" almost a year ago, so (I assume) that status isn't new.

  • This guy is apparently the first black candidate who is a member of the DSA who is going to be elected to the state House (and yes, he is going to be elected: in the 58th district, the token Republican has absolutely zero chance). He is, however, far from the first leftist/socialist rep from that or other nearby districts.

The main news here is that DSA as an organization is becoming more popular, such that leftist candidates are willing to be affiliated with the label "democratic socialist" instead of calling themselves "progressive" or whatever.

  • I was confused by the perspective on this one. That first panel looks kinda like "attack of the 50 foot woman."

  • LOL, one of the Youtube comments:

HOLY FUCK THIS ONE ACTUALLY SOUNDS LIKE MUSIC

  • There's a good way and a bad way to make that reference.

  • A researcher bought noreply.net. Companies started sending him secrets.

  • Oooh, looking at RFC2606 (mentioned by your link), the .invalid TLD seems like an appropriate choice here.

(Changing "deleted" users' emails to an invalid TLD still isn't the right solution, though.)

  • I'm just curious. As an Atlantan (which is where Waffle House is from), I'm maybe more interested than most.

I was going to argue the point about it being "readable," but then I found the button to hide all the sidebars and BS, which helps.

  • And Reagan committing treason.

  • I fucking hate sites that display something but try to make you pay to download it. Got a better link?
