  • Honestly, I use it all the time now since I plug in my phone to my car and it's right there.

    It's fine. Sometimes I use Google Maps. It's also fine.

    I actually like Apple's approach to describing when to turn. It'll say stuff like "go past this light and turn at the next" instead of vague shit like "in 1000 feet turn right." Bitch, I don't have a tape measure.

    I think people who grip about Apple Maps as it is today probably just haven't used it and want to gripe for griping sake.

  • I don't know if this actually does what I hope it does, but if I happen to watch a video that I don't want recommendations on in the future, I manually delete the video from my watch history.

    I don't know if that really helps, but at least as a placebo it feels good to do.

    Even college graduates need time to learn and build experience as they work up the ladder. A lot of theory and stuff someone might learn in college won't necessarily be what they'll find in the job world.

  • As someone who has had the chance to play through Xenoblade Chronicles 1 through 3, several times in 3 specifically I was very emotional.

    3 is a game that's emotional on its own, and throughout its story there are several times where it hits like a truck.

    But when you know about all three games, some things just hit a little harder, especially during that DLC.

    There's definitely a reason I have Mio and Noah Amiibo on my desk right now.

    Honestly, XC3 is probably the best RPG of that generation (of course that's on opinion. But it's a correct one 😄)

    For some reason, the Spotify app on my Mac wasted a ton of resources and battery. And it made me so mad I've never used them since.

    Had this couple just not freaked out, it wouldn’t have gotten as much traction. Perhaps even the person who took the video and posted it may not have if it was just a “normal” reaction.

    I mean, the guy is a piece of shit. And she is too if she’s knowingly having a relationship with a married person, presumably without the consent of his wife who she probably knows.

    But this particular thing I don’t think is emblematic of anything other than the FO after the FA.
