  • Sorry, I gave an incomplete answer. It is my understanding that chloroplasts use the blue and red (high and low frequencies of visible light) and the remaining spectrum looks green because of the aforementioned bias with less "noise" to obfuscate the bias, otherwise chloroplasts would appear more yellow.

But truthfully I'm neither a physist nor a biologist and I was kinda hoping to employ Cunningham's law. So if I'm wrong please do correct me. Especially if it has to do with rods and cones since those never really made sense to me

  • It's Album Time by Todd Terje is Norwegian electro jazz and one of my all time favorite albums

Laufey is an Icelandic singer of the traditional jazz pop style, I highly recommend her live albums. One was recorded with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra

Australia has a lot of fun hyperpop influnced acts and influencing acts. Skin by Flume is an all time classic but recently I would recommend I Love my Computer by Ninajirachi

choke enough by Oklou is a French dreamy bedroom pop album that I really enjoy, great for rainy days.

AAA is a great collab album between South Korean indie band HYUKOH and the Taiwanese synth jazz group Sunset Rollercoaster

Music Can Hear us by the German DJ Koze is a meandering exploration of sound that's bound to have something for everyone eventually

KISS OF DEATH is a heavy hyperpop/hip-hop type deal from the Russian duo IC3PEAK, not dissimilar to the somewhat famous south African duo Die Antwoord.

And Philharmony is a wonderful synth pop album from the influential Japanese artist Haruomi Hosono that brings hardcore 80s vibes.

Those are just off the top of my head (and thus heavily skew towards recentish releases) let me know if anything piques your interest as I can find many more album recommendations.

And it's my understanding THATS why plants are green

  • I struggle with sarcasm in day to day life. I think it's because my father would exclusively speak to me sarcastically. He would say things like "g0d0fm15ch13f, I love you dearly"

  • Cant let it pop until the elites have divested

  • Seems like a great idea to me...

  • Been saying it for years. We should've left it to the spainards, the spainards shoulda left it to the natives and the natives shoulda left it to the god damn trees.

  • I mean come on! Her open genital chamber!

  • There are some really good reasons to make changes, not trying to say that this was the case in the parent comment, but there are certainly cases where this makes sense. About halfway through my discrete math final my professor wrote a curve on the board based on exam results from the other test session. He realized that he hadn't properly taught some concepts and he thought it would be unfair for us to suffer because of his mistakes. Should he have been forced to stick to a non curved exam because he hadn't announced it in the rubric or to the first exam session?

  • Lego Star Wars instilled this as well as leaps of faith

  • No no no, don't you understand? The money HAS to sit in their pockets so they can accrue interest. It's only once they become trilionaires that they'll be able to help.
