  • So at 1080 Ultra it looks like you could get by with an RX 7600, which would fit easily within your budget, and in many games should get from 75-90 fps, though in some newer demanding titles you might start dipping closer to 60.

    It might be doable, albeit a bit of a stretch, to get a 7700 XT or even a 7800 XT and come in under 3k (the cheapest 7800 XT is only $90 more than the cheapest 7700 XT, per PCPartPicker). That would give you the 1080 performance you want no question and into 1440p as well.

  • For the CPU cooler, I would recommend the Peerless Assassin instead of the Hyper 212 (basically the same price but should perform better)

    For the case, I would consider the following cheaper alternatives that include more fans:

    You could save over $50 on each of the RAM kits with these from Patriot, their speed and latency is the same as the kit you've specced out but a little looser on the other timings, not sure how much that matters in your workload. There's also options from Silicon Power and G.Skill (Ripjaws or Flare) that again are same speed/latency, but looser timings. Of these I think the G.Skill Flare kits are most well regarded for AMD platforms.

    I'm not super familiar with the intricacies of AM5 chipsets so I'll avoid making a specific motherboard recommendation, but it looks to me like you could probably save up to $100 there going with some of the other options that are available. Also you mentioned wanting good warranty/RMA support, there was a pretty big scandal with Asus on that front last year, and I think GamersNexus has mentioned fairly recently they still get a decent amount of emails from people having trouble with Asus, so I personally would avoid them.
