  • No! Fuck you, you work in advertising you’re sucking the devils cock. Kill yourself!

  • “No, no, NO! The chatbot needs a more comprehensive lexicon of slurs! Did you feed it the entirety of stand up comedy by white men from 1960-1988 like I told you to?”

  • Facebook: at least we didn’t go with our first choice, David Duke.

  • Funny you’d assume she wants that. I assume they have a political marriage. He can point to his non-white wife as “evidence” he’s not racist, and she can use his influence to kickstart her media career, and neither of them have any real affection for each other.

  • I remember fantasizing about flying in that thing when I was a kid. Not because it was a super luxury flight, only because it was supersonic. I was sad the day they mothballed it.

  • So…technically correct. The best kind of correct.

Also, who licks ice? Ice cream, sure. Ice pops, absolutely. But just ice? Give us some wild description of what ice Ic would do in a glass when room temp water or soda was poured on it.

  • Your suggestion of a baseline unvaccinated value is worthless in this context, I think my analogy makes that clear.

If you were comparing two different vaccines for the same virus, and one had an initial massive increase in antibody levels that then fell off, and the other just showed an increase with no falloff, that would be a meaningful comparison.

  • No, she’s not technically right.

If I have a white shirt and suddenly it turns blue, that’s not normal.

If I have a white shirt and I dye it blue, and then it is blue, that is 100% normal and expected.

Antibodies increasing after vaccination is how vaccines work. It would be abnormal if the antibody levels stayed the same.

  • Added context: you are wrong, and uneducated.

  • To your point, the value I see is if this process can be used to duplicate exotic meats, that could protect some species from over-harvesting and poaching. Of course, that supposes a circumstance where the environment that produces the natural specimen is not a fundamental requirement to make the meat desirable.

  • The law is talking about lab-grown animal protein, not vegetable derived meat substitutes like Impossible or Beyond Meat.

  • They don’t realize that the chatbot’s “ideas” about hawking radiation were also just posted by a crank on Reddit.

  • All the information I’ve been able to find is that lab-grown meat scaling to anything like the commercial meat industry is a pipe dream. At least in the current state, the industrial requirements make economies of scale impossible.

I think this is more Texas republicans giving their ranch-owning donors a meaningless gesture of fealty.

ETA: here is a link to an article with more information https://thecounter.org/lab-grown-cultivated-meat-cost-at-scale/

  • If you can find it, Kurt Vonnegut wrote an essay for Esquire called “Jack the Dripper” which was reprinted in his essay collection Fates Worse than Death. He argues that Pollock was a) absolutely able to produce quality traditional art and b) accessing his sub- and unconscious mind when making drip paintings in a way that anyone interested in the human mind should be fascinated by.

  • Maybe she misunderstood and didn’t realize she’s supposed to reduce homelessness.

  • She wasn’t “concerned” with grooming and raping children herself or helping Epstein do it, so what she defines as “concerning” is unlikely to be the same as yours or mine.

  • Because of all those checks from AIPAC.

  • “Cloud” is just personal storage. Not really full cloud services, and strong chance they are hosted on one or more of the US cloud providers. For instance, Dropbox is hosted on AWS, as is iCloud. It’s likely that the storage solutions run by European companies are ultimately hosted on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

  • For one thing, you were probably really sure to keep the meat from being contaminated with animal feces, or from eating obviously sick animals.
