One of my relatives is a farmer and I remember sitting on his porch and hearing absolutely nothing, nothing but corn. His neighbors grew corn, his neighbor's neighbors grew corn. It was just, pure corn stalks. Everywhere.
No bugs chirping
No birds flapping
No squirrels running around
No cars on the road
No planes in the sky
Just wind through fucktons of corn. It was so surreal. It was the closest thing I've ever heard to total silence. It was like living in a barren wasteland but everything was green, with endless food. It was both chill and unsettling all at the same time.

Joking aside, I think you need to think long and hard as to why you can't just say "He was great president." You're not comparing him to LBJ. Not comparing his actions to Biden's or his cabinet to Biden, or his bills to Biden. You're literally one step above saying "Well Biden has at least done something since the time of LBJ" That's a VERY low bar, may as well just be the floor.

Where is that in your link? Is that your jobs an unemployment sections? That's not the poorest of the poor. The unemployment numbers often don't reflect people who are homeless. They're woefully inept in a lot of ways. It also clashes with the "Record high after record high on Wall Street" section.
corruption and inaction is going to hamper whoever the president is, whether it be Biden or Bernie Sanders or Che Guevara. How you solve that problem, I don’t know. But certainly, throwing one of them who did seem to moderately care about the working class unapologetically to the wolves, denying he did anything at all, and bashing him at every opportunity, isn’t exactly going to help.

If anything, you and Banana seem to agree that corruption and inaction is going to hamper the DNC and don't know how to solve it. Banana just has given up hope it ever will.
I'm not really ON facebook. But way too many of my friends use it as a way to send invites to events. I literally just pop in every other week to check notifications and see if anybody invited me to anything. It's kind of infuriating how no other method makes it so easy to just invite 20 people somewhere.
The fediverse doesn't have a decent calendar/invite solution does it?
What I usually do is think about all the time today when I wanted to be left alone. To be uninterrupted. To just get five minutes to myself.
Because now, I have it. I have all the time in the world. I can do nothing. I can let my mind wander. No one will interrupt, no one will dump bullshit on me. Countless times today I just wanted a pause button for five minutes and now I have hours to just do nothing.
Then I wake up and realize "nope, all that time is now gone". Can't catch a fuckin break.

Case in point, any call center that wants to optimize handle time. The reason they pick it is because it's a very easy and straightforward metric to improve.
You just hang up on people. You can make the number go down super easily. Tell them to call back, so they spend two or even three times as long cycling through a new agent each time. Then it's 3 short 5 to 10 minute calls + time on hold which looks better than one 20 minute call.
I won't say it's hated but I feel like it completely fell under the radar because of covid.
Ron's Gone Wrong
I really liked it. It came out of 20th century studios, I suppose it's technically under Disney now. It got released and no one gave it the time of day.
Murdoch was dead on. I thought face was pretty good. Liam did a decent Hannibal and BA was fine.
What irked me was this weird back story of like... trying to let face taking over to lead the group sort of thing, plus the romance. It really rubbed me the wrong way.
Like, the A team isn't some club, they're this perfect storm of chaos towards bad guys, there isn't so much a hierarchy as just this inexplicable plot armor and audacity. If it wasn't all four it would all fall apart.

What happened to the timeline you left? It must still exist. You couldn’t have been the only consciousness that was experiencing it. To think otherwise is some extreme solipsism.
Why does it need to remain? It seems like solipsism to assume it must remain because it's your point of origin. If something or someone has the power to drop something into the past why wouldnt it overwrite everything? I don't see why consciousness even gets applied. The universe keeps on whether I am alive, asleep, or dead.
I see the path of time like a laser beam in a house of mirrors. If someone has the power to add a mirror somewhere. Yep, the whole beam after the fact is a vastly different pattern. Any multiverse would be entirely virtual and theoretical.
You don't share food if you're starving. You don't share time if you work 12 hour days, every day.
If you spend all your energy on survival, you got no energy to spare on anyone else. I bet our hypothetical starving person would be moral and share, if they had the chance and materials.
If they don't... then it's not a matter of won't it's can't. People are more likely to share food they have excess of, time they have excess of. If they can't spare it, they won't.
