It does make a difference, especially when the gains are so massive. Personally I don't care much for it but free weight loss is free weight loss. Hopefully this tech gets adopted by other laptop brands.
I agree, LG is a pretty awful brand all around but I really like the idea of new lighter materials used in consumer hardware. Moving away from plastics to metal frames has been nothing but a fashion mistake.
I don't think your personal anecdote is grounded in any meaningful reality. Laptop tech has been mostly solved for better part of a decade now and even cheap aliexpress laptops are built well enough to hold for years.
There's nothing bleeding edge in cars these days except for security and drive train features. I have 2 cars - new EV and 15 year old economy Toyota and honestly aside from drive train itself there's nothing I can find in the new car that makes me feel like my old car is missing something important.
Car technology has stagnated so bad that "deny list" approach makes no sense since the innovation potential is so incredibly poor. We lose safety and uniform UX for what? Fashion? It's kinda stupid.
It makes huge difference. I'm on Fold since Fold 4 and would never go back to a slab phone mostly because I just read books or text web/social media. The square display is perfect for this as you get proper 80-120 character lines with large font and enough space for media etc.
it actually stands for country of Mali but tankies are right there engaging in imperialism and failing to see the irony lol
The best part. ML losers got the domain because "paying 5$ a year for TLD is capitalism!" and then in 2023 free .ml domains were discontinued because surprise surprise - it was a stupid idea lmao
Yet $TSLA stock just keeps going up. Remember when news like this would actually mean something in the stock market? America's economy is like 🤏 this close to collapse because everything is fake and nothing matters.
Tech regulation is such a joke that I struggle to take any of it seriously anymore. Google was found monopoly and they didnt issue a punishment because "it was long time ago and now there are AI browsers". Australia banning teenagers from social media instead of, you know, fixing social media for all people. It's like punching air yet if you personally break ToS or IP law you are criminally charged.
Who is this a signal for though? They could silently add the AI features and rally their base on aspects people actually like. It's almost like Firefox doesn't want to succeed
