    It's not so much about knowledge nowadays, but about convenience.

    If OP can't be arsed and just wants a prebuilt and be done with it, that's entirely up to them. But as I said, if they are willing and able, they can get much more out of it.

  • It's cheaper to build one yourself with these specs, but yes, it's a fine PC for gaming.

    Edit: adding that they could have totally cheaped out on certain parts like the power supply or the motherboard, as you can't see them. If you're willing and able, I would definitely recommend building something yourself as it's so much easier today than it was 20 years ago.

    Plus, it would be a nice bonding experience.

    The 2010 suicides prompted 20 Chinese universities to compile an 83-page report on Foxconn, which they described as a "labor camp". Interviews of 1,800 Foxconn workers at 12 factories found evidence of illegal overtime and failure to report accidents. The report also criticized Foxconn's management style, which it called inhumane and abusive. Additionally, long working hours, discrimination towards Mainland Chinese workers by their Taiwanese coworkers, and a lack of working relationships were all presented as potential problems in the university report.
