  • Hmmm, from what I've heard Elon had the least influence over the software (apart from "lol just make it a computer and hire Qt devs"), so it's actually not that bad. Well, in comparison to some other cars, that is... So yeah, would not at all be impressed if that will be the case.

    Though now it's sort of vendor locked in to AMD and Intel (plus whatever those few Chinese clones were) and a very specific combination of software components on Linux (or just Windows), with janky emulation and translation for everything else, but that's a separate issue.
