Same great Dharma, new SolarPunk packaging!

Check out DharmaCurious.neocities.org for ramblings on philosophy and the occasional creative writing project!

  • I'll go fix mine too

  • They were referencing fascist, not f@ggot. Both refer to a bundle of sticks.

But now that it's been brought up, and because I'm a little stoned and I'm looking for an excuse, I will share one of my favorite stories (that I sadly cannot remember the origin of, but possibly the Mahabharata)

A queen has 5 sons, and wants to teach them to rule together, to keep peace in the kingdom. She hands each son a stick, and tells them to break it. All the sticks break easily. Then she gathers 5 sticks and has each son attempt to break this bundle (f@ggot). Each son attempts and fails, before handing it to the next. When the last one fails, the queen tells her sons,

"Alone, each stick is weak and can be broken. But together, a f@ggot is unbreakable"

And all that is to explain why my next tattoo is just gonna be a tramp stamp of the words "unbreakable f@ggot" in fancy cursive on my lower back

  • I mean... Is it harmful? Otherwise, protein!

  • That looks fricken amazing

  • You rock!

  • Oooh, that sounds really good. Yeah, looking forward to the post!

  • Ooh, how did it turn out?

  • Is that rice? I love me some bacon and rice with eggs

  • It takes ~21 seconds to piss. I'll wait for an opening.

And if there are no dividers, I'll wait for a stall.

  • I prefer "that's a particularly lovely circumcision scar" or "what a beautiful foreskin!"

  • Faith,

Please do not stop posting these. Please do not dump all of them into a single post.

You must continue to give us a steady trickle of these emails.

Please, Faith, continue at this pace, and then at the end give us a single post containing all of them, as a recap, in case we missed one.

    Thank you, Faith

  • I'm fully aware that orangutans aren't our closest relatives, and that our of Asia is pretty well debunked... But I swear to God, every time I see one of them fuckers I think "hello, grandfather! Teach me the ways of the forest!" Lol. I feel a kinship to them that I just don't with other great apes (except maybe bonobos), and it makes me wish they were our closest relatives. ... And also that I had some kind of scifi helmet I could give them to make them smarter and give them language so they could tell us to fuck off and leave their habitats alone

  • Okay, please someone explain this video to me. Is samir blind? Is this like, a test, to see if a blind man can drive with a navigator? Why is there a navigator telling him about medium lefts? Should a driver not be able to see a medium left coming up? What is happening here?

  • We think alike lol

My blog (terribly, terribly neglected) was called Aum My God, as it was about Dharma and related ideas

  • Now, I'm aware that I'm on the science memes comm right now, and that you're all much smarter and more enlightened and mature and shit.

But that dudes name is hitler and not one of you has said a word about it, and I find that very disappointing.

  • In fact, we know that they did wear adorable hats made from compostable materials. It's just that the hats were extremely valuable, and so whenever we find dead dinos without their hats it is likely because of grave robbing, or potentially even that they were murdered for their hats. Held at claw point, and marched into the tar pits, all for the hats so they proudly wore.

  • I once dreamt that a house in my neighborhood was used as a filming location for a movie, and that whoopie Goldberg was in it. When the movie was over, she had developed agoraphobia, and could not bring herself to leave. I took care of her, along with her sister, and eventually married her. We were married for 35 years. I know this sounds insane, but I swear to you, it lasted 35 years in that dream, for years, I could remember it like a second life. When I woke up I grieved.

I was 11 years old, and 2 years later we moved into that same house.

There was also the much less cool dream I had in early 2001, where we took a trip to NYC, and when we got to this big bridge, soldiers made us turn around, and the air was filled with ash and smoke, and the soldier told us "New York is closed"

At the time I kept a dream journal and wrote that one down. No one believed me when 9/11 happened until I showed my parents the journal
