I don’t agree. You’re essentially teaching people to question what they’re told and at least pause for thought before maybe sharing that misinformation online.
If people are aware that the media is manipulating them and they’ve been shown concrete examples then it stands to reason that they will get better at this the more they do.

I literally witnessed my closest friend pushing back against some of his friends on my talking points. He wants racist or an idiot, he’d been lied to and pointed to the wrong people as the enemy. Now after me working on him for months on end he sees that he was wrong and how the media manipulated him and will push back against others.
I can see a time when he himself converts someone else and perhaps they will also pay it forward.

I appreciate you looking out and honestly I’ve been trying to push the boundaries of what you can say online lately and seeing if I get any knocks on the door, although I feel this stuff would only be discovered after the fact, and I actually went postal. At some point though I do believe that violence is the only answer to an oppressive system and I would happily lose my freedom in service to my end goals. But let’s hope it doesn’t come to that and we can spread awareness about more progressive policies.

Amazon has been known to lower prices to drive away competition and then raise prices. They’ve been shown to stock products and if that product does well they’ll make their own cheap version, undercut the original seller and when they can’t compete and the competition is gone they’ll increase the prices. They’re a predatory business at best and evil at worst. I’m happy to say I’ve not given Amazon a penny in about a decade. That’s before we even cover how they destroyed bookstores, and the shit show that is AWS.
