  • Quality over quantity. Doesn't matter how much you post or comment if your opinions are shit, and judging someone for how often they post is pretty shitty.

  • Fuck all that. People who reject empathy don't deserve empathetic treatment. He was a giant turd and I'm glad he got flushed.

  • All good, friend. Keep hating those Nazis.

  • I appreciate the sentiment, but for the record, the Presidential Medal of Freedom is a civilian award, so it's unlikely that anyone was awarded one for killing Nazis (although I'd be happy to be proven otherwise!). With it being the highest civilian award available, the military equivalent should be the Medal of Honor, which requires gallantry at the risk of one's own life above and beyond the call of duty.

  • Last I checked, hating Nazis wasn't a UCMJ violation.

  • It's not weird when you consider he doesn't give a fuck about anyone but himself.

  • "HOLDECK"

  • I missed out on a lifetime pass when it was on sale for $25. I told myself I would pick it up next time it went on sale for that price, but then it never went below $50. Now I'm kinda thankful that it didn't.

  • If anything, I'd be more concerned that I still agree with my teenage self. Because that means that either you were a very prescient teen, or that your opinions haven't matured beyond surface-level understanding.

  • It's interesting because inside the US, this is a totally valid opinion to hold. Outside the US, many people end up having to pay per message, but can use data for free via WiFi, so it makes more sense that these apps are popular there.

  • Is this an old person trait? Consider me a curmudgeon then.

  • Sure, but have you considered that this would loosen the hold capitalism has on the wage slaves? Won't someone think of the shareholders‽

  • With adequate funding. That's the part that always gets omitted. We haven't been funding the research to make it happen.

  • And I'm from '84 but I don't claim the 80s because I barely remember starting Kindergarten in '89. If you honestly feel that remembering some cartoons at the end of the 90s qualifies you, I won't deny your 90s kid membership.

Also, I hardly see this as gatekeeping. If you can't remember the decade, I think it's fair to say you're not a kid of that decade.

  • For real. Already passed 40 here.

  • For sure. My father-in-law just went through one. He's 79.

  • 90s kids were mostly born in the 80s. If you don't remember the 90s, you aren't a 90s kid.

  • Looks a little sparse on the Greek peasant.

  • Wasn't that Mother 2 (AKA Earthbound)?

Either way, taking the "Mother" name a bit literally.
