  • I don't think that at this point the American public opinion of what is going on, really matters, besides internal politics within the USA. From the outside, it's a much larger problem than Trump, the current administration or even the American democracy. It's a sudden and unexpected loss of trust from an ally that used to be more or less confident.The risk of this happening again, in any way possible and impossible, has lowered its trustworthiness and it will take many generations of active work to change this

  • For the rest of the world, Trump is the representative of USA. That's how democracy works. I am sad to say that this won't be over when Trumps steps down, however and whenever he goes down. The USA has lost street credit for many generations to come and it won't be easy to fix

  • No It has nothing to do with politics. The question is about the rule of this Community .the rule is about politics but the question is why the rule specifically applies to a very narrow area of politics

    I haven't used Reddit for years but I could see what you mean from Lemmy too. I just hadn't noticed such a specific targeting of limitations in rules before.

    But I am curious to hear why it is specific to US politics. The world is a big place and although politics have a long reach I find it strange that it is targeted at specifically the US.

  • I have only a few days before they get removed from Netflix and I am furious.

    I'm only at season 6 of TNG.. I had planned for years of entertainment and now I don't know where to continue watching

  • I have 6 weeks off work with pay. 5 weeks is the minimum here though.

    I just don't have the desire to travel so I just spend time at home doing stuff that I feel needs doing, and chill
