Addendum: I am allergic to peanut butter. I got ahold of a soy-based alternative called Wowbutter, and people who are not allergic tell me they nailed the taste, but the aftertaste is kinda not good. So, the first thing I did was shove a whole teaspoon-full of it in my mouth. My brain goes "you dumb fuck, you're gonna die," but I didn't, because it wasn't toxic. So I went and tried everything made with peanut butter (BTW, strawberry > grape for PB&Js), including the Elvis. A lot of it was kinda gross. I guess if you were raised on peanut butter, maybe, I can see it, but I didn't think the experience was anything special. Not when Nutella exists... which I also can't have. But then there's Biscoff spread, which is non-toxic, apparently it's also vegan (wouldn't peanut butter be, too?), and it's ten billion percent better than all that other shit. Though, you would be absolutely right in saying I've never had real peanut butter, or your favourite variety of it.
Monogamous person here. I would not be offended if someone asked me if I was, or if someone else is. I think it's kinda hot. It's not something I'd want to be in long-term, but for a night? Shit, why not? That said, I've been married almost 20 years, and my wife and I aren't looking for a third or a couple to play with. Maybe when we were both 20 years younger. Not now. That's a younger person's game (to my mind anyway). But offended? No way. You do you, boo.
You can also ask me if I'm gay or trans. I'm neither, but I won't mind being asked as long as it's respectfully. And I'll answer in kind. I have been hit on by men. Not often, but it's happened a few times. Always flattering, as long as they take no for an answer. They always have. I mean, it's kinda dangerous for them if they don't. Not from me. I just mean in general. And violence against LGBTQ+ has always been a factor, unfortunately. Still, I'm flattered they think I'm worth their time. But I don't swing that way. I thank them for the compliment and wish them well. I think it's the best you can do in the situation. And while best is the enemy of good, well, I try to be better.
I honestly can't recommend any one forum platform. I didn't mean to recommend Invision and I'm glad you didn't read it that way. Nothing against them, it's just my information is way out of date whether I liked them or not. The software was good. I was on their host/demo board and interacted with other customers and some people on the team. Nothing bad to say. I've never heard of humhub and Flarum, but again, my information is out of date.

I think what you want is a private forum. Someone will have to pony up some light server costs, but as long as you aren't using a lot of bandwidth — you could disable image uploads, and make your users upload to Imgur and the like instead — it shouldn't be much.
I remember seeing a private forum. It was for the movie Boys Don't Cry — or rather, the trans man the movie was about. He was a real guy, and he was murdered for being trans. There's a forum out there (or, there was 20 years ago) and all you can see is the name. You need a password to see anything else. Don't have that? You're probably not getting in. It's a place for his friends and family, and probably some trusted friends they've made along the way.
I ran a forum once, about 15 years ago. I think I paid $10 or $20 a year for the dot-com, the URL. And I was paying a company called Invision something like $10 a month for them to host their forum on their server. I had admin access, I could do anything I wanted with it, but I had bandwidth limitations, and I had space limitations. It was fun for a bit. I ran it for almost two years. I wanted out, and a guy on the forum wanted to take it over. I said he could even keep the name, but I wasn't going to keep paying for the address. I didn't sell it, I just transferred ownership over. I never got charged again. I didn't keep visiting it. I heard he shut it down a few months later. It's not for everyone. If you're not passionate about running a forum, get someone else to do it for you, and just have them maintain it. You don't even have to be a mod. You let people apply and you tell your guy who you want to be a mod. He runs it from the shadows, only there to do upgrades. Maybe he posts the rules, too. But doesn't participate in conversations. Maybe once in a blue moon you see him, but he's not what you'd call a forum regular. Or he's a snarky arsehole, I've seen admins like that.
You really can't have a super private Lemmy comm. Not sure about instance. With the comm, you can make it so only approved people can post, but I don't think you can hide it from everyone by default. That's not what Lemmy is for, and we're too small anyway (though, I don't mean to speak for the people in charge). I think the forum thing might be your best bet.
I saw this on the BBC. I kept looking for some kind of rationale, like maybe he had head lice and it was a threat to a community with so many people in such a tight space. Setting entirely aside that issue, I figured, there had to be a good reason. Nope. At least the BBC did not give one.
So then wouldn't it just come down to assault? Assault does not have to 'hurt'. It just means unwanted touching. (If it does hurt, that's called 'assault and battery.' Battering a person meaning to hurt them in some way.) So I suppose they have justifications for that as well, but it wouldn't have to involve religion. And might be harder to prove/win.

Yes... I was able to disable the subscription-oriented tools from Numbers (Excel) but not Pages (Word). Maybe I didn't try hard enough. They're marked so you can just not click on them, but there's a way to hide them. I did it on one, I can probably do it on the others.
They're completely free with a subscription for GenAI stuff that wasn't there before. They didn't take anything away from the free product.
As far as I can tell, yes — and so is LibreOffice, since people are talking about that one, too. And I suspect they both have the same limitation — encrypted Office files. So yes, I can read .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx files. I can't read Publisher (.pubx) files, but neither can Mac Office users — Microsoft never released Publisher for Mac. I can then write them to the iWork formats. I can also take an iWork document and export to Office. I suspect Office can import iWork files. Office interoperability is mostly a solved problem, though I think there are a few outlier cases.
Well, if Meta gets to read my messages, the least they can do is comp me the phone. I'm not paying twice (with my money and with my privacy). I'm realistically never using a phone with Meta spyware in the first place, though.

Since the OP specifies Mac users, as a Mac user, I find iWork perfectly serviceable. I think it's a bit controversial with its "Ribbon" on the right rather than the top, though it kind of makes sense. I don't love iWork (Writer, Numbers, and Keynote), but they are good and they come with Macs (or at the very least are free in the App Store).
I have tried LibreOffice recently, and I didn't care for it. But I am glad that such a robust free office suite is available on Windows. I believe some Linux distros ship with it, too. If I didn't have iWork, I'd probably just use LibreOffice. It's not terrible, I just have a better choice.
Morrowind was worse. Casting a flight spell that lasted 1 second on cliff racers dropped them when the spell was over (taking away their innate ability). Same with water breathing on the killer fish (I forget their name).
I guess that's part of the reason enchanting got nerfed so hard in Skyrim. It probably won't be in The Elder Scrolls VI, if that ever comes out.

Fair, but gorilla arms aren't tied to berserk. They do synergise well, but gorilla arms is the best cyber arm augmentation because you can use it for strength checks. There aren't a lot of these, but there are a fair few in that if you're not going for a strength build, you can push strength (body?) to the point where gorilla arms will get you through most doors. There's probably a guide for that, but I try not to min/max too much.
