Waymos on YouTube getting stuck in places cars shouldn't be is about as good an example that exists that these should all be ADAS features in cars with the human incharge, and that AI should also be used as a tool and not to replace humans.
The comparison isn't fair if the human driver doesn't have similar ADAS features. But nice try Waymo.
This seems to be disabled for me on mobile, but enabled on the desktop. Seems like a helpful feature, though they could've just done something like Firefox where it's an offline search for a website with the same starting letters.
Still, appreciate the writeup and trying to minimize data collection while calling a 3rd party service in the browser and the option to disable it.
I'm sure no more messy bleeding the brakes will be cheered by those who need to do brake fluids (I dislike doing it on my motorcycles). Multiple motors and pistons should still mean adequate redundancy, but more details from the manufacturer would be nice.
Almost makes you wonder why class actions were gutted by the supreme court. Nobody is going to sue for 8k since hiring a lawyer would cost more, and a class action would be impossible to win. AG seems to have some power though.
You see, people keep complaining about Apple software, and defend their lock-in and lock-out practices at the same time. I just can't help but point out the options. Less futile than pointlessly complaining.
As the thread mentions, this is tinygrad only, no opencl as used to be possible. The equivalent would be vulkan or sycl today. It's also higher latency and less performance.
MAGA and religious zealots are like two peas in a pod, ready to use fear, disinformation and wealth for their purpose of subjugation, oppression and even genocide.
Gotta pay off those data center loans.
