  • Sounds like we're going back to the "four humors:"

    Except now we are actually using a contemporary version of it to rule our health care system.

    MAGA is literally the same as the German Nazis of the 30s and 40s, and they will be operating death camps, just like their heros. They are already building a camp in Guantanamo Bay to hold 30,000 people, out of the sight of the media and the courts. They'll send foreigners to El Salvador, but they'll send Americans to Gitmo.

    Are we supposed to wait until they have killed millions, and have people say "Gee, why didn't someone stop them before it got that far?"

  • This is great news, with an enormous silver lining.

    At some point, we will have to take our nation back from the MAGA Nazis, and it will probably be extremely ugly, and probably very violent. The people in this room are the people who will be directing the defense of MAGA, and they clearly cowardly, craven, loyalist servants of HitlerPig. He will will be the person who will be directing the defense personally, and we are all extremely familiar with his virtuosic incompetence.

    OTOH, these people replaced knowledgable, experienced, intelligent, and COMPETENT public servants, who took great pride in the directing the American goverment on behalf of the American people. These people had top security clearances, and know exactly how deep in Putin's pocket the MAGA Nazis are, even if we only know the surface details. They know better than anyone, how treasonous and corrupt HitlerPig is.

    Since their removal, we have heard almost nothing from any of them. Are all those true patriotic American leaders just relaxing on chaise longes on their lanais, sipping drinks and watching the sunset before watching Wheel of Fortune, as the MAGA Nazis destroy the nation that these people took an oath to protect?

    Or are they all in contact with each other, discussing strategies to take back the country, and secure the nuclear arsenal? That would explain the near universal silence from all of them.

    If HitlerPig tries to declare Martial Law and suspend elections, I suspect we will start to see some real response from these people. If it comes down to a Civil War between our leaders and their leaders, my money is on our side.

Biden not only had to fix the economy when he took office, he also had to launch a Covid vaccination program.     I am really sick of the "mainstream media," which is supposed to be so liberal. What passes for "journalism" these days is appalling.

    When the El Salvador dictator met with HitlerPig in the Oval Office, Pam Bondi said that a plane could be sent for Garcia, but it they couldnt do it because they had no control over the landing in El Salvador. Then Trump said it wasnt up to us , it was up to El Salvador, and we couldnt control that. The the El Salvador dictator said that he couldn't "smuggle" Garcia back to America, and he had nonl right to speak for another nation, and that it was a preposterous question.

    And that was the end of it. Not one "journalist" stepped up with indignation, and said "Lets end this charade! Literally EVERY, SINGLE PERSON in the entire world that is required to make this decision is in this room right now. Nobody has to say, 'Sounds good, let me run it past the bosses and get back to you.' The people required to make this happen on both sides are literally sitting right next to each other. Why can't you look at each other and agree to make it happen?" And then pushed them to cut a deal, or not, in front of the entire world.

    The reporter who would have done that would have become the most famous journalist in the world at that moment. It would have totally changed the trajectory of their career, but not one of them did it. They seem to think that their job is to provide a platform for the MAGA Nazis to spew their propaganda, unchallenged.

    And perhaps that is exactly their jobs, as demanded by their owners, who are Sociopathic Oligarchs and Corporations who have donated to HitlerPig's Inauguration fund.

  • And a swastika represents "good fortune" and "well-being" in Hindu and other Indian cultures, concepts I would support, but I still wouldn't get it tattooed on my body because of it's other meanings.

    If this guy is ignorant of the more recent meanings, that is just as troubling as if he knew their modern interpretations. If someone had elaborate Nazi imagery all over their body, and they were truly ignorant of the meanings, I would not think that they possessed the intelligence and judgement to supervise any people or projects.

    Whether he knew about it or not, it's a problem, and this guy is in charge of the Pentagon.

  • I had a long drawn out argument with a guy who insisted that HitlerPig was saying that the "tattoo" was just labelling his other tattoos, despite his original post clearly calling it a tattoo, and multiple sunsequent statements insisting it was a tattoo.

    Obviously it wasn't a tattoo, and this guy was insistent that HitlerPig never claimed it was, when he did, over and over, and here he is, still sticking to it.

    The point is that these people believe whatever nonsense they make up is the truth, despite all evidence to the contrary.

  • I like a smooth, pureed salsa. I first fell in love with the salsa at Luchita's, in Cleveland, 40 years ago, but Inhavent had it in over 25 years, since I left Cleveland. Its one of the few things I miss about Cleveland.

    Recently, I found Wllie's, a smooth salsa in several varieties, and it is the closest I've found to Luchita's. Its a perfect clone, as near as I can remember.

  • That is a DoJ POLICY, not a law, nor is it in the Constitution. It has never really been tested, everybody has just gone along with it all these years. SCOTUS gave the president immunity, but with a loophole: it has to be part of his presidential duties. It could be argued that arresting opponents for doing their Constitutionally-mandated jobs is NOT within the President's duties, and therefore he would not be immune. Same with doing things like ordering the military to fire on American protesters exercising their 1st Amendment rights. It will be up to SCOTUS to decide, and they've already shown that they wont rubber-stamp his nonsense.

    If he starts arresting SCOTUS justices, they arent likely to find in his favor for ANYTHING.
