  • Thank you for the reply! Incredibly helpful and I’ve been referencing it all day during my research.

    I’m looking at using just the L12S which should get me to position 2 on spine configuration (70mm).

    But honestly where I’m struggling… I can’t find a RX 7800 XT that’s under 50mm width!

    Do I just need to look for a different GPU at this point?

    I want to stick with AMD due to wanting to use Linux and knowing drivers can sometimes be iffy.

    For context, no budget restrictions (I’ll save up if I need to) but I need the SFF because it needs to be connected to my TV in the living room. It’ll primarily be for games like Civilization 7 (smooth end game), so I don’t need top of the range GPU, but I do want 4K/60FPS if I can.

    What alternatives are people using? I’m on Mac, iOS and Linux, avoiding Chrome/Safari and not looking to go back to Firefox, is there anything reliable/secure available?

  • Been using it for a while, I like it, but they do push out some questionable updates every now and then. Bugs I can understand, but forcing design changes on people aren’t great. Calling out the new tab change they made, I ended up changing a setting to deactivate it. Right now it’s my preferred browser, but I’m still open to looking into alternatives (Mac/Linux).

  • Same boat! I paid monthly for ages, then got a lifetime pass and everyone was singing the praises of Jellyfin, at this point it works for me!

  • I only dipped my toes into email hosting at a (terrible) job, the effort and complaints when things didn’t send/receive properly was too much.

    That being said, personally I’ve used Gmail and I’m ready to get rid of it. I’ve got a domain I’d like to start using.

    What’s everyone’s preference for provider? (I’m avoiding Proton Mail due to the CEO’s recent controversy)

    I bought books through Amazon and used the Kindle app on my phone and Mac. Is there still a method to get these books into an alternative like Calibre or am I screwed if I’ve updated the Kindle app on my Mac?

    I want to delete my Amazon account, but I’d love to keep the books I “bought” and “own”.

  • I’d stopped using the platform a while ago and went full Lemmy, but this was the push I needed to delete that shit out of my life. Just need to figure out Google and Apple next, they’ve got me by the balls with those services!
