  • I've personally seen a strong correlation between ingesting DMHO and autism. This is why I only give my children mashed potato mix now.

A lot of eye-opening info here

  • Or even better: "then it would be easy for you to prove it in a court of law."

  • The explanation I read is that skull is cranéo in spanish - "cranium" - which would give us C = 3rd letter of the alphabet. The jury is still out on the cross, but perhaps "god is number one" or something. Never mind that actual MS-13 members have no qualms about tattooing the actual letters all over their bodies instead of elaborate ciphers...

None of this matters though, focus should be kept on the right to due process. They can smear him all they want, it doesn't change the facts.

  • A lot of assumptions here... clearly this is going nowhere.

  • As a general rule, where quality of output is important, AI is mostly useless. (There are a few notable exceptions, like transcription for instance.)

  • Well, perhaps you and the people you know do actual important work?

  • .ra files taught me why proprietary is a bad word.

  • Why not both?

  • Plus it's not the government making this claim, but an "alt-right influencer". Their audience isn't going to fact-check anything they agree with anyway, so why not just lie?

  • I'm primarily going to hold you to this statement:

We have seen the crowd turn against someone, hating someone, many times. It always blows over. Thats why we dont talk about what happened a year ago anymore.

The bad will generated in the past few months won't blow over for Musk. This also means that, for example, if Tesla gets rid of Musk in the year to come, then their value in a year doesn't really mean much to this argument. :) See you in March 2026.

  • Oh, of course...but why the car? Because there's a car bomb, IRA-style?

  • I'd love to understand this joke, could someone explain?

  • I don't know about that -- a kind-hearted and gentle idiot would have a hard time, I think

  • I'm convinced the best solution to this problem would be to rename vaccines to something completely different and brand it as a natural remedy that the establishment is fiercely against. "A natural therapy that strengthens and heals your immune system. Ancient asian medicine rediscovered. Witches were burned at the stake in mediaeval Europe for treating people with it."

  • I mean, I agree with you, but this is also a huge problem. This is why you have someone who pretended to be a successful businessman on TV as a president now. I really miss the days when boring but competent people could run a country.

  • I'm not a fan either, though in terms of musicianship and songwriting quality most of it is far above contemporary american pop. I completely understand why kids would prefer that to the endless "three chords and autotune without a hook" slop.

  • I assume your question was rhetorical, but these people have no fixed principles or commitment to truth. They don't want free trade for everyone, just no regulations for them.
