  • Yeah I love the show after but ds9 vs any other shows is a depth vs breath. Ds9 had some of the most complex characters in all of star trek. Because of that push and pull between the writers and Berman. Those first few seasons let you do character driven stories and flesh out the world. Then that paid off in dividends in the later seasons when they starting doing plot driven serial stories. Plus they were not to drop a epistolic story right in the middle of a longer story arc. To give the audience a breather/ palette cleanser.

    Unlike today where each season is a bloated movie where the plot is find the mcguffin that will save the universe every season. Like a crappy railroaded D&D campaign.

  • Yes that women on a whole are smatter about it when they decide to commit crimes. Plus the justice system is also geared to be more lenient on women also plays a factor as they are not thought of as suspect's and that feeds the numbers that enforces the stereotype. So its feedback loop. Also like i said its my own personal theory I'm not declaring that's its fact.

  • Also I have a pet theory that they don't they just get away with it more often. So that Skews the data. Also in the US incarnation is just another way to reimplement slavery that's why African American men are targeted more for prosecution than any other demographic. Plus men are geared by society to be providers for their families so crime is sometimes thought of as an option when people are desperate.

  • In the USA Most are generic names for chains like and they are bar in grills the other are shit pubs like the Londoner that are truing to be British pubs without the culture its like a pub at Epcot. There was a place called Wickers that was great but got shutdown for kids underage drinking.

  • Note ML is a tech stack and AI is now a marketing term. It used to be a field of study and still is but the marketing term is so widely used its reduced the meaning of the original term. Kind of how 5G is a tech spec but then companies kept labeling their networks 5G before the 5G spec was certified. Then when the 5G spec came out it created even more confusion.

  • The one that has pictures of my love ones both those with me and those I only have memories left. Its white and has gold trim bought it in a KMart in late 80s and its been with me for so many moves. It was one of the few things left behind when my house got robbed. So I thank them for that.
