  • Awesome! Thank you so much!! <3

  • Oi!

  • Hi! Sorry to hijack, I am starting learning Laravel (I am a mec. engineer, so I don't have much background in programming).

Is there something (material, roadmap, advices) could you tell me?

  • he should make it more open so others could keep the pace for him

  • Actually he seems pretty cool

  • Tbh It sounds awesome

  • Pretty cool!

  • Does that works with Mobilizon?

  • If Piefed continues to implement features without considering the ActivityPub protocol and other platforms, much as Mastodon has been criticized for, it will damage the very interoperability that makes the fediverse valuable.

  • I guess you could set profiles, like in regular Firefox

  • Come on, the whole purpose of pixelfed is to be an image federated platform.

If you want something different, use something different.

You ordered a pizza and are complaining it isn't a salad.

  • Now this is podracing!

    Seriously, I loved the idea!

  • Should not be needed, since it is only blocking UA that starts with "Mozilla" but won't hurt to add Piefed UA.

The Lemmy UA I left there but it was only for testing at first and then I just left it there, the rule that blocks most bots is filtering http 1.x and browser UA when the requests come from VPS ASNs

  • I get your point, but any solution would still need to block threats at the server level, and that costs server load. Honestly, we're too small for the U.S. military to even notice us. Plus, the free CDN is a great benefit.

My real work for the revolution happens on the streets, and there's very little any intelligence agency can do to stop that.

  • Yeah, I know, still it is a lot better than lots of bots loading my server, and it is free, I am an unemployed loser in south america, can't afford anything really.

  • Lemmy @lemmy.ml

I created some WAF Cloudflare rules and now my server is smooth and FAST

  • I don't think so. He often hold down PRs and when push them almost all the times makes sure that they wont be compatible with the majority of activtypub implementations.
