  • One of the most evil people in the whole world.

  • Most people find lying absolutely neccessary in daily life.

Some do not like to admit that, for example in Usa is it culturally very overestimated.

  • object on privacy grounds

That would be the reasonable thing to do.

  • How do you stop retiring? ;-)

  • They did it in one day, but you repeat the news about it after one week....

  • Have you read the verdict?

  • My first thought:

With this look she should be able to find a better job easily than just standing there all day pointing to the sign.

    ;-)

  • Sometimes it does not even matter if it is truth or not.

That may actually be such a case here: Factual statements that can create bad reputation for somebody (or some company).

  • appears to be impossible with current LLMs

    Not the court's problem.

"Sorry, your honor, my weapon is that faulty so I can never know who it is who will be killed, but I just had to shoot because that's how I make my money..."

  • the AI makes its own claims that don't appear in any linked source, and the operator has to answer for them. [...] if it gains traction internationally, the fallout could hit not just Google but every AI provider

And that is a good thing!

We (the world) need at least some basic level of quality and truth in AI generated answers. FINALLY.

  • Unfortunately, the regional court is the lowest court stage

No. Landgericht is the second stage already.

  • I left Us stocks nearly a year ago when the smell of decline started (and I will easily resist the upcoming IPO shit shows of the AI bubble). Went into gold and it has been successful for the time being. Decided to invest into tourism next, because the vain in the world won't cease.

  • Reading skills anyone? I did not say they all talked about progress, I said they all had that attitude.

  • UPS for 1-2 minutes.

They won't find my server ;-)

    Feds are coming

...most important: I am not inside Usa.

  • I don't think he had friends /s

  • Too many of these books look absolutely untouched.

Dante is the exception. It is also a hard one to understand. I assume you tried hard to read it but failed after 20% or so, an then you more or less ended your reading habits, even though most of the other ones (you got one on every birthday) are extremely easy stuff.

  • One generation is looking down on it's parent generation (and maybe earlier generations too).

Each generation develops this attitude to some extent. "Progress" is a common term to pretty-paint or justify it.

Since the industrial revolution, the term was amended as "technical progress" with an extended meaning, but similar purpose.

  • .... in countries which I call "unregulated"

  • Therefore there are (or: need to be) laws and courts who can check even the actions of governments.
