  • Yeah, indie music, gamers, goths, vegans, movies, martial arts, queer subcultures... There's a lot of things to latch on to and think "this movie was made for me"

  • Have to disagree. The movie is awesome, lots of lines to quote, lots of visual gags. It (and the comic) were formative for me and it's one of the few movies that I feel really understands the millennial gamer nerd culture. And of course the music is great, but I couldn't agree with better.

  • Snark aside, xcancel just got a C&D so it's good to have tools that allow anonymous viewing of Twitter. I'd prefer if companies and people moved to Mastodon but as it stands, I occadionally take links there for announcements, updates, and art.

  • It's a good reminder. Sometimes I have busy days where I just want to grab some food and watch youtube before I have to run out again. My cat's been laying around for 8 hours, it's good to get her running around for both physical and mental health, even just for 5 minutes.
