I know this was just referencing a random Democratic city, but as a resident of Honolulu, our blueness is a bit weird. We just effectively reelected Ed Case by like 30 points in his first competitive primary since 2018, but we also have two medium progressive senators. It's diverse and Democratic, but not very politically active with a bias toward name recognition and seniority. Honolulu, Ohio would keep the state red.

And Case's career was put on ice because he didn't wait his turn and challenged Senator Akaka in 2006. He only won back into the House 12 years later with a plurality due to a crowded field for an open seat. One of his proclaimed differences with Akaka was saying he'd have voted for the Iraq War.
He really just sucks so bad and I hate that we're saddled with him.
