Land back. Do drugs.

  • Do the one with olives and bits of tuna. Serve it with egg coffee.

  • There are infinite possibilities when you have a real human leg.

  • If only. Kinder Surprise toys used to be good, they needed actual instructions to put together. Sometimes they were weapons, intentionally or not. Now you get a Kinder egg and open it up to find just some guy. Not building, no exploration, no pain, just a little plastic guy. This is what's wrong with this generation.

  • Interesting. Apparently the criticism is that he never swallows. But I did a quick search and found this: https://www.wired.com/story/this-streamer-has-convinced-the-internet-guy-fieri-never-swallows-food-on-diners-driveins-dives/

As critics of the conspiracy theory were quick to point out, some of this sleight-of-fork is to be expected in the production of DDD. Fieri visits lots of restaurants in a short span of time and can’t eat full meals at all of them. Sometimes a second or third (or tenth) take is necessary, and it’s not practical to take a new bite for each. Certain editing choices are no doubt for the sake of continuity and flow: does the audience really want or need those few extra seconds of awkward silence as Fieri finishes chewing a morsel of barbecued meat and gulps it down?

Others simply disputed the accusation that Fieri is faking it. “Not true,” Joe Sasto, a chef who has competed on a Food Network Tournament of Champions series hosted by Fieri, commented on the Doctor Spaghetti video that ignited the no-swallow controversy. “I’ve filmed plenty of shows with him. He eats EVERYTHING.”

  • I alternate between different ones every year. I just tried to find my favorite olive oil soap recipe but I'm only getting AI slop results. Silly me for not bookmarking. The best one I found was basic cold process recipe that only uses olive oil, lye and water. If you're searching, the one I like recommends using a milk carton for the mould and letting the soap sit for a week before slicing, then letting it cure for 60 days. The ratio of ingredients should all be the same across good recipes. I don't trust the slop.

Otherwise I used meltable glycerine soap base I used to get from a place called The Soap Dispensery in Vancouver. Doesn't seem like they sell it since I moved, so I can't tell you what was in it. To the melted glycerine I would add jojoba oil, shea butter, vitamin E, tea tree oil, charcoal and cedar essential oil. I like woodsy, herbal scents.

Sometimes, if I plan ahead, I'll dehydrate lemon and lime rinds into crumbly bits to add for texture and exfoliation. Other times I use coffee grounds.

Another time my niece mixed in vanilla, mandarin and rosemary for the scents, it was a hit with everyone. Smelled like a healthy orange cream pop.

  • Totally. Once a year I make a huge batch with all the things I like and none of what I hate. I give out a bunch for Christmas and have enough to last me the rest of the year.

Occasionally I'll dig out my supplies mid-year for something special or to make soap with friends, then I just have extra.

It was easy to learn and the costs were worth it.

  • People make fun of him but he's just a happy dude who likes food.

  • Buy someone's leg.

  • Damn

    Jump
  • I'm a atheist, raised catholic.

I agree religion is a bullshit method of control. But — Repenting isn't so easy, it's not only saying you're sorry for everything. You've gotta repent so hard you feel it in your soul, like it's gotta be physically and spiritually painful. You have to make God Himself believe you. And you have to be willing to accept any just punishment in return.

  • A woman had a seizure on the sidewalk. I kept her in the recovery position (she was already on her side) and managed to slip a bag under her head because she kept banging it on the ground. Called 911. Figured everything was as good as it could be given situation, she wasn't going to hurt herself any further and help was coming.

Then a cop walked up and tried to pull her onto her back while I was trying to keep her on her side. I yelled to back off, he yelled back, argued with me about whether I witnessed a seizure, I refused to let him touch her, EMTs arrived shortly after.

    Fuck cops.

  • A spicy slaw for fish tacos or shredded with potato and cheese and cooked like fritters.

  • There's more recent evidence that men's immune systems can be more deeply impacted by flu viruses, causing aches and pains all over their bodies that women don't usually experience.

  • Man, I feel the same way. I didn't self advocate and didn't have the self respect to find good partners through my 20's. Now I'm loud as fuck and healthier for it.

I'm glad you're doing better. Sometimes we gotta shovel shit before we reap the fruit.

  • Same! One cup of coffee in the morning is more a routine than a need, and I barely touch alcohol unless it's a special occasion. I cook 99% of my own food from fresh ingredients and go for daily walks.

My thirties are awesome, I spent most of my twenties with undiagnosed crippling pain and ADHD. Now I'm on the right meds and feel great.

  • Are you trolling now? Why do you phrase your questions like this applies to everyone when people keep telling you it's not normal?

I wake up naturally at 6-7am, happy and healthy.

  • Doctors are idiots. I have no idea how many I've gone through by now to get my diagnoses. There have been whole studies on how doctors are more dismissive of women as well.

I don't do anything for my energy levels except eat healthy, normal food. One thing I do notice is the more I work out, the more I want to work out over time. If I don't start my day with some kind of activity or go for a walk at some point, I'm less active and cognizant later in the evening.

  • And it took me twelve years to get treatment for andometriosis after monthtly crippling pain. It took me another seven for an ADHD diagnosis. Doctors are mostly shit, especially to women.

You want support for this? Fine. But stop phrasing it like it's a normal part of aging as a woman.

  • You keep posting this and everyone keeps saying it's not normal. It is a big deal. I'm over 30 and I kayak, hike, have infinite hobbies and still take courses in my spare time on everything from writing to chemistry to french. My friends are the same.

Find another doctor, and if that one doesn't solve it, find another doctor, and stop posting this. It's shitty to assume women are supposed to fall apart after thirty.
