  • Does that change the fact that they believe that they listen to Christ? Their pastors tell them that they do! They tell them all about the loving Christ! And then they tell them about who doesn't deserve the mercy of Christ because they strayed too far from whatever imagined line they draw.

    The drawing of this line isn't something unchristian. Its very much integrated in EVERY abrahamic religion. The only difference is where that line is drawn - which only means that there might be a difference in tolerance between christian denominations, but it is a gradual thing, and not a categorical one.

  • Because they believe in God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and use the Bible as a basis. That defines pretty much all of Christianity, regardless of how they interpret the scripture.
