If you are just worried about microplastics and chemicals you probably don't need an expensive whole house system. You can buy a much cheaper system that you install to one faucet and use that faucet as your drinking/cooking water and not worry about treating the water that will be used to wash your clothes.
You can use something like tailscale for remote access if you aren't already set up for it otherwise. Then you can use music assistant to stream to your phone (as a snap target) and play that in your car or whatever.
She's just trying to make it one more season before replacing it. Was gonna upgrade this year but costs were up and the weather poor so just one more year now and she'll get that nice new combine she needs. That's what this picture tells me. She must really understand my struggle.
I don't remember which battlefront I played but I thought it was fun. This was 10ish years ago. My main memory is a mission flying in some canyons and shooting other ships.

To all the users who made the blocklist, your Lemmy experience has been greatly degraded by not interacting with the users of tesseract. The fediverse may never again know their like. I don't see a lot of targeted ads but when I do, which is during online shopping, it's mostly the male equivalent of what my wife buys on Instagram. I feel it tends to miss my tastes. The Google feed on my phone is a little better but I never use it so anything I've accidentally clicked on when putting it in my wet pockets (the only time I've ever clicked anything there but it happens a lot in the summer) is way overrepresented.
I developed intense knee pain one day after running. I had been sick for a few weeks and went back to my regular routine and after my 20 miler of the week I found I could no longer walk up the three steps to get into my house. It isn't that it hurt so much but that my knee felt weak and unstable. I sat and layed in front of my steps for a few hours until I could get up enough to unlock my door. In that time, I decided I was weak and just needed to cut back mileage for a couple of weeks. I was wrong. It's about ten years later and I still can't run more than 9 or 10 miles without a week of prep first. I saw doctors, PT and hippies. Pain relievers and muscle relaxers helped but made it hard to keep my cadence. PT gave me stretches and a resistance band and told me to do exercises for three weeks before trying a short run. The hippy gave me some RC that was kind of like acid. I wish I had just listened to the PT. The IT band stretches ended up relieving my pain and made it so I could reliably go up stairs again. I recommend seeing a PT or sports med guy and doing what they say. Otherwise, for me it was IT band stretching and switching to zero drop shoes. Good luck, get healthy and stay there!
I also run multiple RD accts for family members. Such a pain. I even got a nasty gram from RD over simultaneous connections a few times. A Usenet downloader (sickbeard) was one of my first self hosted services. I haven't used Usenet since like 2011 when my indexer of choice was shutdown. I just checked astraweb and I still have an account on there somehow! It feels like all signs are pointing to a move.
This is a cool idea and I think it will be my daughter's new favorite thing!
