  • You have a lot of reasons to by them and it's absolutely a good purchase. A man needs shoes so get them.

It's not a treat in anyway, but "treat" yourself and enjoy the purchase without concern. I've spent that much on beer in a night and forgotten it because I was pissed. Don't feel bad about this.

  • They are going to keep those coal plants as back up but the amount they use then is decreasing.

At the same time they are rapidly moving transport into electricity and they are growing their electrical demand.

This year should be the tipping point where coal and oil usage drops. Capacity and number of coal is meaningless.

  • I'd go to one.

I went to Qatar and tried to find out if they did LPG tours. They don't. :( well at least not easily.

  • You're right, nothing compares to one man's anecdotal evidence.

  • That's batteries of the past. The rate of change in batteries has been so dramatic it has left people's understanding behind.

Batteries will far outlive when a ICE car would have been scrapped.

  • School was great. Short days, long lunch and breaks. Loads of holidays. Had an hour of exercise thrown in every few days. Loads of people to talk to. Different things to learn.

Hated certain classes and hated being a child at times.

Last couple of years of highschool was awesome. Dropped all the shit classes, people suddenly treated you better because you was a young adult had even more time off! Like fuck 3 hours of work a day was unreal. (Where is our reduced workforce efficiency gains!)

But I agree with the other guy uni was much better. More drinking, more fucking more independence. Uni was the dream.

  • I was using libre tube for a while and that broke.

What's the best link for revanced?

  • Honestly in some ways this is such a stupid solution to the problem.

When it comes to cost saving or on the other side of the coin efficiency. The most useful thing is to remove it not make it cheap.

We should be looking and giving people very good and easy alternatives elsewhere were they don't need call centres at all.

I called my doctors a million times to book an appointment and if I could have done it all online I would have. This is how many times I called:

Went to hospital and Dr told me book drs appointment.

    1. called to book
    2. they call back asked futher questions

got one (got told to come back by doctor)

    1. can't book that doctor for the future call up first thing in the morning at our busiest and we can rush you in. (I then got a job so needed to book)
    2. we have no staff call back when we do (didnt say when)
    3. called. We have no appointments call be next week. "Can I book that Dr"? "I don't know. You'll have to call back Tuesday"
    4. I'll call back next tuesday.

This isn't fixed with an AI this is fixed by me being able to book an appointment online. If the Dr needs to give me a slip for one booking approval to not be abused so be it. Receptionist doesn't need to know my business so fuck them.

  • I don't understand. Aren't fractions better than decimals for algerba?

Like 22/7 is better than 3.14 when it comes to pi for example.

We always got taught to do everything as fractions and then convert to units at the last possible moment to reduce errors in rounding.

  • I'm American. I got 80% on my IQ test am I dumb? That's a GPA of 3.0.

  • Yea but if I want to find something I want to be able to find it.

  • Man I feel like a large part of the internet is out of reach.

Why have I got to sign up for tiktok just to watch this happen?

Shit like this used to be easily finable on google or something. Now I can't seem to find shit. All I get get in news articles about it.

  • Deleting system32 fixed my issues.

  • Family still means something because the definition is limited.

Community is dead and the reason for that is community is exclusive, by necessity it has to have people in the community and people outside the community.

People can't stand not being involved so they force they way in shit all over the floor ruin it and then suddenly the community is dead.

  • Can't wait for my free pants. 2 years on the waiting list or pay some corrupt official 10 times the value to get some next Tuesday.

  • My view is it's pure hypeware until proven otherwise.

This isn't Tesla hate from my side either. The general consensus from enthusiasts since the beginning is Tesla is way off the mark. But the latest self driving upgrades using more LLM tech has apparently been a big step up. By that I mean going from poor assisted self driving to good assisted self driving. Getting it from there to no driver behind the wheel is another matter all together. Maybe they had a single jump or maybe it's a new path of consistent progress, I have no idea.

I'm not expecting much from Tesla. I would absolutely love to be wrong.

Expecting more from baidu, pony.ai and zoox more than Tesla. Hell even BYD with the Chinese backing it has might beat Tesla.

  • I've been to Los Angeles and Austin. Is San Francisco seen as a bright sunny desert climate?

  • Was hoping at this point in time Waymo would be expanding more aggressively.

But no one else seems immediately on the horizon and Waymo is consistently expanding well so they are doing very well indeed.

I'm excited for the last mile problem to be solved and be able to cycle on roads without drivers that actually wish I was dead or playing about on their phone. Also I hate driving.
