I'm not working right now and find that I'd rather spend the extra 5 minutes to use the oven or stove for most things. When i had an air fryer, it got used way more than the microwave. Microwave will probably see a little more action when i go back to work next month.
I love what i do and the kids and people that i work with. Administration is incompetent and has become more and more micromanaging because they don't understand that they're the problem. I've been out since October, going back in Feb, will probably quit in may at the end of the school year and do something different.
I'm the same. We're remodeling a house and when i see the price of an item i do hours and hours of research trying to save a few bucks, which delays everything. We began remodeling Jan 6. Could be done by now if i were less wishy washy.
I also talk too much, especially when I'm anxious/nervous, struggle with silence when I'm with other people, and I'm too loud. It sucks but i don't really know how to stop the nervous chatter and i can't judge what's the right volume. Appreciate your post and the responses.
We just sold a house after living in it for 25 years. It's where we raised our kids. Before selling i was struggling a bit. The moving out process is exhausting and makes you just want to be done. We inherited a house that needs significant work. The remodeling of that is exciting and the proceeds from our house sale make it possible, so I'm not sad about it at all. My husband likes to drive by to criticize the new owners landscaping.
