Our old cat, Max, would sit across the room and stare at us at 9:00 every night. When we looked at him, he would turn around and put his back to us and sit there until we fed him. My husband would call out words like snacks, slacks, trax, fax, and when he would actually say Max, the cat would glance over his shoulder at him. They are the worst little creatures in the world. Why do we love them so much?!?! Some days I don't understand how this furry little wild creature actually lives in our house with us.
Well, yeah, language is dynamic, but there are so many fad uses of words that are caused by people not knowing the real/original/normal use of the word and then spread by the Internet and then forgotten as quickly as they began. If not for social media, these would be limited to 12 middle schoolers at band camp. This feels like one of those.

There was an article awhile back about how popular only fans people (personalities, entertainers? I'm not sure what to call them) hire writers to do a lot of their posts. I thought it was pretty interesting, but my opinion may not be valid as I'm not a man.
My mom had medicare and a good secondary. Looking back, i should have requested name brands for her. With generic, there are often a couple of different patterns (size, shape, color) that you get and it makes it really difficult for older people to take their meds correctly.
My co-workers and I are feeling that this school year. Realizing that it has much more to do with the poor attitudes and failures of leadership than the actual job.
