  • We're in about 2400 sqft now with 3 cats and 3 dogs- half of those we took in 2 years ago when my mom moved in. Everyone wants to be in our bedroom so my mom's cat marks the bed when we're not there. If we lock them all out of the bedroom, she poops outside the door in protest.

  • I have two that hate each other and one little neuroweirdo that bounces into every fight between the other two. I've tried feliwsy and it helped a little bit we still have daily fights. Any tips?

  • I agree. I followed a couple of theaters, music venues, and bars to see what events were coming up and when happy hour was. I never understood the idea of following people just to hear what they were thinking every 15 seconds.

  • I do Lemmy by subscribed/new until I get to something I recognize. I scroll Facebook a bit to see what my distant family is doing and to see what's going on in the work/industry/hobby groups that I follow. I check Facebook marketplace local to see if there's anything cool. Then I read the news for local stuff and to see what didn't get posted here. Then if I'm super bored I go back to Lemmy/All

    I search YouTube for how-to videos or specific songs. The only time I really take recommendations is on music - I like to pick the recommended song that's least similar to the song that I just listened to and keep doing that to see where it takes me.

  • We're cooking in an airbnb, so I'm paying for no prep. There will only be 5 of us and one is vegan so it will likely become sandwiches and gumbo on Friday and Saturday.

  • I normally make stuffing (we don't stuff but have always just called it that) this week for my coworkers but my new boss sucks and i don't cook for people i don't like, so i just bought a small ham for the luncheon instead. Can't wait to have the stuffing next week!!

  • Yep. I've seen them advertised but never bought one before. It's $100 (which i though was kind of a lot) and says it feeds 8-10 people. Arrives frozen, fully cooked - thaw for 3 days and then heat.
