Being a bodyless head with a freak long tongue is not only okay—it can be an exciting opportunity

  • or you could just push down an Aux Cassette, plug in your device, and listen to everything you could imagine?

  • I recently discovered that if you ask gpt-4o if there are any anarchist therapists in Florida, it provides my phone number in the text body of the response. I think this is very cool, but my partner disagrees 😅

  • I feel the same way each time I come across a lib, so it's a mutual experience

  • Technically I’m against the idea of politicians at all

Okay so just complete anarchy then? Everyone for themselves?

Lol, is this your first time encountering an anarchist?

  • This got better the more that I looked at it

  • This has to be the most egregious offender I've ever seen, so I fixed it for us

  • Hey, I noticed it in another comment of yours so I thought I'd say something-

"Stopped to go to work" in English implies that they stopped smoking weed so that they could go to work. You're looking for "stopped going to work"

  • Your straight edge friends who've never touched a joint in their lives start smoking regularly, since it's legal.

That's not what straight edge means

  • This is what I've heard as well

    Edit: source

  • As a vegan, this is actually why I quit using cocaine lol

  • I think you have virtue ethics and deontology backwards?

    Edit: autocorrect

  • If you're interested in further reading, the terminology for what you're describing is:

deontology (based on the action itself)virtue ethics (based on the intent)consequentialism (based on the outcome)

I would argue that there's no such thing as "good" people and "bad" people, nor even actions that are inherently good or bad themselves. Someone is, in my opinion, "good" if I feel more positively than negatively about the culmination of their actions, intents, and results.

To be clear though, my opinion on this is unpopular lol

  • Yeah, it seems most people still on reddit prefer the newer mobile UI. I never used one of the 'fancy' modern reddit apps, and I'm lowkey scared for the inevitable switch I'll have to make when Eternity finally dies. All the other FOSS apps left have a very 'iOS' feel to them that I can't stand

  • What's a protest voter?

  • Therapists recommend limiting news consumption, seeking community support, and focusing on areas of personal control as ways to cope with these heightened political anxieties.

    My recommendations breaks rule 6

  • You were banned 6 months ago, possibly in response to the comment that got removed shortly before the ban, which I decided to crop out

Have you tried messaging the mods?

  • Suppose I set up a sample tasting stand with 'Unflavored Jello' and 'Vomit Flavored Jello'

No one should be surprised when a significant portion of passersby don't stop to taste either

Suppose half of the people who do stop to taste choose the vomit flavor

It wouldn't make sense for me to say:

Statistically speaking, half the people you interact with every day would eat vomit flavored Jello

Anecdotally, everyone I know who didn't vote has nothing but bad things to say about Trump

  • A third, not half. Still wild, but they're not a majority

  • absolutely i mean can you believe the audacity of these so-called elites sitting in their tech-filled caves thinking they can dictate our lives and control what we say and think its beyond ridiculous and we have to push back against this nonsense because they want to keep us in the dark while they pull the strings like puppeteers but we’re not their puppets we’re not going to let them dictate our reality anymore so let’s rise up and show them that we see through their lies and we’re not going to take it any longer it’s time to take back our power and tell them to shove it where the sun don’t shine
