  • He looks like a husky version of Dangle from Reno 911.

  • "The cow called me last night. Big cow, strong cow, beautiful cow. It was crying on the phone, begging, pleading with me. 'Mr President,' it said, because it respects me just like everyone else, except for the phony dumocrats and the Spanish. 'Please Mr President, the cow goes moo!'

"I said, 'I don't understand what you mean, Mr Cow.' The cow goes moo? Why is he talking in third person? That's my thing, you know? What's he talking about?

"And you know what it said back to me? It said 'the cow goes moo for you, Mr President, because you're so strong and handsome and successful. And you have such big manly hooves and such a smooth neck that doesn't look like a vagayna at all!'

"I said 'thank you Mr Cow. When my beautiful bunker ballroom opens up you should come over and chew on some cud.' But then I had to hang up because Natalie came in with my Baby Mum-Mum biscuits and my sippy cup of warm milk."

  • I agree with others here: manifestation is nonsense. Or at least it's a sloppy way of describing the idea of careful planning and hard work, but without that careful planning and hard work. Wishing for something to come true without doing the hard graft is a losing proposition.

On the "things I wish someone had told me back then":

    • Start investing in index funds. Steady saving as early as you can on low-fee investments with more stable returns is the way to go. It's not as glamour or exciting as day trading, but it's the safer and smarter approach. Keep more volatile trading limited to a limited budget of 'fun money'. Treat it like gambling on horses or playing poker - assume you will be flushing that money down the drain, and once you've hit your fun spending budget don't go behind it, even by a penny.
    • Don't take your health for granted. Find a sport or exercise you really enjoy and lean into it. Soccer, basketball, martial arts, gymnastics, going to the gym, Street running, cycling, baseball, or whatever. You don't have to be good at it, you just have to enjoy it. Your proficiency will increase with practice.
    • Watch your diet for too much sugar, salt, ultra-processed foods, etc. When you're in your early 20s you'll probably feel like you're indestructible. But the decline without watching your diet (and without regular exercise) is slow but insidious.
    • Take time out to just connect with your environment, friends/family, and yourself. Connect with nature. Practice mindfulness and meditation. Do yoga (that shit is deceptively amazing!).

  • ICE Bubba probably saw what he thought was a trans person and ran away in terror without his gun.

  • Haha, I was an entire hour ahead of them.

  • I heard somewhere they are buying it because their own development platform sucks. So they are going to replace it with hugging face.

Which doesn't preclude them from locking all the good stuff behind a subscription, of course.

  • I still call the body of water between Mexico and the Southern US the "Gulf of Mexico". And I will continue to call the large lake north of New York State "Lake Ontario".

Trump can pass as many petty executive orders at he likes. They won't make a difference. Except to water time, effort, and money.

  • Everyone here is getting strong vibes of this from you right now:

  • The supposed race of the blue creature is irrelevant. The racism is in the fact that the n-word is being applied to the brown version of the creature.

I hope you're just trolling here. Because if you can't see the racist connotation here, that's kind of embarrassing.

  • In b4 the "my company still purchases 3 billion WinRAR licenses every year" comments.

  • I hope he's able to sue the city and their police department and gets a fat cash settlement.

  • Thanks. That perspective helps.

  • Sad story time...

My brother brought home a young pitbull he found abandoned on the side of a motorway. The most likely theory was that it came from a traveler community and was abandoned because it wasn't good enough at dog fighting. It was still young when we got it, kind of an adolescent.

That dog was nervous around all people, aggressive towards other animals (especially other dogs). But in particular he fucking HATED all teenage boys, probably because of the abuse he had suffered. And guess what I was at that time! Fun times!

I tried hard to befriend him, but he was so psychologically fucked in the head that it was a futile exercise. Every day I'd get home from high school and he would be snarling and bearing its teeth at me and quivering with rage/fear as soon as I walked through the door. I would say hi and he would get even more aggressive, and start following me around. So I took to ignoring him as much as possible. But even then he still attacked me several times. I figured out ways of reducing the damage and fending him off, but it was still not good.

I kept being my parents to get rid of him. Eventually they did, like after two fucking years of going through that miserable routine.

And yeah I did kind of hate that dog because he made my life very difficult. But I also felt really bad for him. He was screwed from birth and so psychologically scarred that he never stood a chance. We're sure the shelter ended up putting him down because he was so aggressive and anti-social.

    Fuck animal abusers!

  • Holy shit, this administration is such a fucking embarrassment.

  • The outgoing Texas congressman let loose Sunday morning.

And there's the reason why he finally found his spine!
