I am sick and tired of seeing artificial intelligence every this way and that. I believe the time has come to form an alliance of people disgruntled with AI.

  • Well yeah. But also the fact that AI is run by (and therefore tuned to the greed and desires of) big tech CEOs is also part of the problem. I agree with you, but it’s a more complex problem than simply saying ‘people in charge are to blame for this mess’

  • To be clear: I read about what happens with AI in the news/on the internet mostly, it’s not hard to google ‘AI news today’ and see what’s going on in the world of AI, or go on Reddit/quora/Lemmy/whatever other boards for discussion they got, and read about people’s experiences etc. That’s how I know how other people are using it.

    LLM’s and machine learning (as it is used today) and all other types/forms of AI.

    Not really sure about your point of ‘shunning’. Nobody’s shunning AI, we’re having/encouraging/engaging in constructive debate about the nature of this. How can we shun something we haven’t fully scrutinised either by research or discussion?
