Americans should be dragging politicians through the streets by their entrails with all the shit that's been happening but they willingly just keep letting it happen with no actual recourse.
Never had anyone recognize me (I post and comment sparsely and in short bursts) but I recognize a lot of other names. Most of which I'm sure the average Lemmy user recognizes.
Failure is a chance to learn. Why did you fail? How could you improve? How could you fix the problem even after failing? How could you ensure you don't fail again?
These are all things you typically can't learn until you fail and have to answer these questions.
I fail at things everyday. But because I've failed so many times with so many things I know how to fix things or how to set myself up so failure isn't possible.
Let's say for example you have a large amount of drugs in the car. You drive 10 miles over the speed limit and get pulled over. Now you're a felon when you should've just gone the speed limit.
I only block people who consistently post things I don't want to see or people who spam post the same thing eleventy billion times in different communities.
Personally I've thought about blocking you and violet for the horny posting but it's amusing enough that I haven't yet.
As much as I love space and the idea of space travel we have a lot of problems on this planet that need to be solved before we even think about expanding our reach to the stars.
