  • I think it's mainly Americans who don't believe in climate change. I don't live in the US but I am yet to meet a non-American who does not believe it's real. Although, unfortunately, said people may think climate change is real but it is at the bottom of their priority. The far right idiotically and pathetically fail to link climate change with migration. The former think migrants simply want to cause havoc. Most people don't leave their places unless it's economic, which climate change is wreaking havoc upon because the vulnerable and poor global south don't have the means to cope with warming weather that causes drought. Meanwhile, the billionaires are laughing all the way to the bank and stringing us along like puppets. And we are all too happy to be played upon.

  • And WiFi

  • He was taken aback and hasn't said anything. A lot of people would not have heard of things that are unequivocally bad about billionaires because social media algorithms glaze them for the masses, and opt out the billionaires' assault on social progress and democracy.

  • What made English the dominant language is not just because of colonisation, but also because the structure and rules are simpler than other languages. Adding those adds unnecessary complexities!

  • We are all in a bubble. Social media algorithms puts everyone to a certain narrative based on one's interests and miss the bigger picture. I spoke to a guy who seems to be right leaning, kinda believes in outdated preconceptions such as men are naturally inclined to be spreading his seeds and cited billionaires like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk. I told him most of Elon Musk's children are IVF-conceived.

  • Unfortunately there are still some worshippers of his, even low key ones.

  • You have more in common with the poor than with the billionaires.

  • Five companies owe more money than their balance sheets admit. A Nikkei analysis of financial footnotes at Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Oracle found $1.65 trillion in off-balance-sheet obligations tied to AI infrastructure — binding, must-pay commitments parked in the fine print

Good thing I don't invest in these big names, not only because of overvaluation but also because of corruption. My mom told me to be careful with investing because companies go bankrupt but i kinda dismissed her concerns because I am thinking that the days of Enron accounting magic is over. But it looks like it's still alive and well. Although I doubt executives will be held accountable.

  • Any idea when the Chinese RAMs are going to flood enough of the market to lower the price?

  • Cruelty is the point, especially giving everyone diarrhoea.

  • As is should be.

  • Climate change and migration. There really isn't such a thing as "illegal" migrants to begin with, let alone that most people don't want to leave their homes but for economic reasons. With climate change destroying the fertility and economic productivity of land, it prompts people to try their luck into more prosperous countries, and they are getting demonised for wanting to have better lives. Most people don't realise this and are distracted by 1% propaganda to blame helpless migrants.

  • Burnham seems to have better domestic policies. But the other test is on foreign policy, especially on Palestine and Israel.

  • Good. The left needs another Franklin Roosevelt.

  • Americans have been protesting of piss poor foreign policy of their country. That is why isolationism have become a popular platform after all to run on. But in China? You don't see people protesting against Beijing claiming the entire South China Sea. Russia arrests anyone who protests against the war in Ukraine. There is an ocean of difference.

  • You probably spoke to .ml users. They are some of the most wilfully ignorant pro-CCP and pro-Kremlin users. Some are, without a doubt, paid trolls.

As another user mentioned, look if the username ends in .ml but there are such propagandists who have non-.ml accounts and post nonsensical verbages that .ml usually parrots.

  • Maybe that's why the stock market is down. Billionaires are selling and cashing in from their own stocks. They know the bubble will burst soon enough.
