  • I always sacrifice some small piece of fruit or meat to them when the wasps are getting annoying. 65% of the time, it works everytime and they fuck off with their gift and never come back

  • I think the idea behind this is that algae are more space-efficient than trees at producing oxygen and/or capturing CO2. Of course this is also ignoring that the bulk of a tree's volume is high above the ground, and they also provide other things like shade and shelter for insects etc.

  • I think they need to get the nip on their scent glands ? That's how ours seem to get high. We use some wood stick wrapped in some cord, usually it doesn't seem to do anything to them until you start firmly holding the stick for them to really rub their face on it. Or munch on it for a few minutes if we're not helping

  • That's neat

  • I think something went seriously wrong after word 2007 when they changed the whole UI.

  • Not necessarily. They could just be declaring 1/2 transactions or something. Which would just be a form of tax evasion I think ?

  • It's cool because it deconstructs the whole thing, down to having a quasi god as one of the heroes

  • No one said they were bypassing the OS. Have you seen the permissions some apps ask for ? Messenger used to straight up refuse to work if it couldn't access your contacts and what your screen is showing at all times (allegedly to allow their shitty app widget to always display on top of whatever you're doing). Don't need a microphone to spy on anyone with that.

  • For all their flaws, I think modern Bethesda are still pretty good at building interesting environments and worldmaps. Fucking fallout 76 has one of the best ones but it's still a bad game though.

  • That blows up the conversation trees by 4 times how many archetypes there are. You can do the smart thing like bg3 or fallout new Vegas and add options to the more generic ones based on archetypes

  • We instead recommend that the existing IUPAC rules be extended, and that element 10^56 be called ununununununununununununununununununununununununununununununununnunununununununununununununununununununununununununununununununununullium.

  • Sycophants is the fancy word for yes men. I heard some of the people around Kanye are actively exploiting him.

  • Yeah I wanted to use my new pcie 5.0 nvme for both Linux and windows but it's not even being recognized as nvme in windows apparently, so I think I'm gonna reset all this shit and put windows on my old nvme and Linux on the new one but it's a hassle.

  • I have one, it still isn't great. Windows update routinely fucks with it. Currently using windows as my daily driver because I can't be arsed to fix my Linux partition again

  • My void when he's dead set on playing with the flower bouquets

  • Wake up babe, new SCP just dropped.

  • Raw onion is tasty but my tummy doesn't like it as much as I do, so I'll usually go for fried

  • What do you mean "how well it rotates" ? If, e.g. an A4 portrait document is scanned in landscape it can be rotated back to portrait with no issues, no ifs or whats about it. It's a simple file orientation change

  • Who needs nuance when apparently an entire residential building counts as acceptable losses (don't even think about damaging daddy's oil tho)
