  • Strictly theres 'dehydration', though it does lack gravitas of 'starving'. 'Parched' also exists but I feel like that falls in with 'thirsty' as a "Yea I want water but I'm not dying" situation.

    'Dessicated' or 'dessication' could be used descriptively as it means dried out.

  • You can already get the meat mountain if your appetite is large. I did two years ago because I make poor life choices. It was 20 bucks and includes all their non-fish meats. Be sure to tell them to heat the meats up because all the meats includes the coldcuts and the hot-cold mix is not a great experience.

Hard to focus on Trump shooting someone in Times Square yesterday when he's bombing Greenland today and tariffing the moon tomorrow all while posting 35 tweets a day with random capitalized words calling sesame street communist and depicting himself as elvis via AI. Vance lacks that juice.

  • Bluesky has a lot of libs, which is certainly better then twitter these days, tho annoying in its own way sometimes (most recently: platner glazing up til he finally dropped.) more robust blocking then twitter, and lets you subscribe to lists of shitters to block. I have had issues with bots but they've been fairly easy to spot, and largely resolved when I subscribed to a list that simply blocks everyone who follows 10k+ people.
