Prominent youtubers came out and specifically said that they found it a good measure for their mental health to not have the focus on dislikes. Fairly certain one of the vlogbrothers did. They may not agree with it completely but said it was a positive.

Are you honestly defending this, the software took a life and didnt react. Im not on a skynet buzz but it is concerningly bad software and implementation.
I dont care if humans do it, they shouldnt and that should be the easy bar to clear in implementing a replacement for humans.
Hmm at a glance I dont see a major issue here, my concern would be that I dont click on vids with shit numbers so they are now on a more equal footing.
But it is better for people not to be so focused on numbers like removing number of likes on Instagram.
There are currently two ecosystems covering about 99% of the worlds phones. If you do not want to use either system you are locked out of what has become vital tech.
Opening up this would encourage innovation. It wouldnt be enough for airpods to work samlessly with iphone if they also worked seamlessly with android and "XOS". They would have to compete on price and featureset.
They are allowed on the web, they are not allowed sign up to be members of social media websites. Information should be freely available without being logged in, if it isnt then maybe the platform if the problem not the person or government.

Tbh I cant ban subs so when I crawl R/all I get mostly bots, reposts and thirst traps which sucks but there is no long term discussion threads here. Nothing like a review thread on the movies sub or music subs, where there are hundreds or thousands of views to skim.
