The Universe's greatest distributor of Spice. Cult of the Shrike member.

  • I guarantee you that if Costco and other grocery chains implemented mandatory prayer sessions for their employees, these asshats would finally shut up.

  • Its CEO is kissing Trump's ass.

  • The Apple II was a good computer but if I lived in that era I probably would have used a Commodore 64 and later the Amigas or a i386 IBM clone.

  • Seymour, who reportedly had a daily rate of $150 for his translation services, lasted less than a day on the job before he was replaced.

$150 in 1977 is roughly $800 today. I don't think he charged enough for such an epic troll.

  • I also tried finding a dumb 4K TV some time ago and, yeah, they don't exist. 4K TVs were a good tech that came out at the wrong time.

  • Henry would've been proud!

  • Any snapshot from Morrowind.

  • I like your descriptive writing style!

  • I'm really enjoying this right wing implosion. This is one I'm going to tell my grandkids about.

  • "It's not like drug addicts will stop taking drugs if I quit heroin."

  • I really fear for the future of my female loved ones and women in this country in general. Will my older sister who is currently pregnant be subject to this violation of human rights? Will it also happen to my wife when we get around to having kids? Will my younger sister who is only in high school be forced to abandon her educational aspirations because of "societal pressure"? A revolution is in order.

  • Movies and shows that I have watched this year in no particular order and not all released this year:

    The Beekeeper

    Iron Claw

    Say Nothing

    Altered States

    The Substance

    Oppenheimer

    Peaky Blinders (rewatch)

    Kneecap

In The Name of the Father

    The Batman

    Lord of the Rings (rewatch)

    The Departed (rewatch)

    Deep Space Nine (haven't finished)

    The Devil's Own

    Sicario

Additionally, my wife has recently started watching Gossip Girl but I only catch glimpses of that show. Did anybody actually like that show when it came out?

  • True but I drew that comparison since they both donated to left wing parties in countries outside their native homeland. Soros is a prick but not for the reasons that the neo-Nazis would have you believe.

  • From the his Wikipedia:

More controversially, Feeney gave substantial personal donations to Sinn Féin, a left-wing Irish nationalist party that has been historically associated with the IRA.

He was a basically an Irish-American George Soros.

And it's down Along the Falls Road, that's where I long to be, Lying in the dark with a Provo company, A comrade on my left and another on me right And a clip of ammunition for my little Armalite.

  • I am a technology journalist – I like to think I am thoughtful about what data I share with corporations.

My brother in Christ, if you are a tech journalist then you, out of all people, should know not to give ANY data to corporations. That is a massive fuckup regarding your job.

  • Bravo! Couldn't have said it better myself. Having been involved in bodybuilding and gym culture for 4 years now, there's a lot of overlap between that and Nofap and other manosphere/right-wing nonsense; online that is. I almost fell down this rabbit hole myself.

  • Dogmeat about to go into Vault 22.

  • Oh boy, it's that time of year again. The NoFap team are no match for my peer-reviewed evidence.
