  • Those Xilinx USB programmers are such a pain in the ass to use. They tend to work fine like 95% of the time but the other 5% just refuse to work.

  • The easiest but most tricky way is through paranoia. It's easier to look at the bigger picture of whatever you're presented with if you always doubt the intentions of the one doing the presenting. Of course that could backfire by then doubting subject matter experts like doctors and physicists and end up becoming antivaxxers or flat earthers.

  • The Venture Bros. The world building was massive for a show that started out as a Jonny Quest parody complete with supervillains/heroes, spies, politics between these groups, a deep history spanning over a century and mysterious characters that hinted at a deeper story. They were planning to do an arc using a Magneto analog voiced by Matt Berry and how he was dethroned by David Bowie. The entire series was written by two guys so it's likely the reboot's quality would still be great.

  • That's a refreshingly candid condemnation of all the things Trump and the GOP have been doing. I hope this pisses off the apathetical assholes who didn't vote in the first place to actually give a shit and do so against them.

  • Fuck. Off. Harris.

  • AI as customer service is shit. I wasted an entire day waiting for an electrician to show up while the clanker I was texting to kept reassuring me the techs were on the way. They were supposed to arrive at 4 and by the time I gave up on the company it was 10. It turned out it never even alerted the techs to show up at my property. Humans are way better even if you have to wait for them to call back, they can be held accountable at least.

  • I loved that they used to let us work remote whenever we weren't needed at the labs or manufacturing floor. I hate that they now have RTO mandates that I rarely adhere to anyway.

  • There's always been race swapping in films. Just look at John Wayne portraying Genghis Khan.

  • Reality's been taking a strange turn everywhere lately so why not this too?

  • Agreed. I had to wait months for v1.1 to drop because I was having graphic display issues on CachyOS. It still glitches out when I'm trying to select sketch surfaces and even crashes too often for my comfort. The promise is there, it's just that the execution needs a little more time so I could finish migrating from Solidworks.

  • Japanese markets are extremely sensitive to price changes and food price margins are razor thin. An ice cream company once publicly apologized for raising their prices by 10 yen ($0.10 USD) after years of keeping its price at 60 yen ($0.60 USD).

  • The easiest way to tell them apart is that gas is compressible while liquid for most intents and purposes, essentially isn't.

  • All religions are cults. The only difference is how many people practice it and thus gain favor in society.

  • Sadly despite all the bad news over this most regular users don't give a shit and like the convenience.

  • Texas can be nice to stop by for a brief visit. Any longer and you start seeing some of its more problematic side.

  • Intros are an excellent way to pad out run times using recycled footage.

  • Furries would pay so much for this tech. The first vendor to make a tail that can wag on command will make millions in sales.

  • That's why you verify your setup without a network connection before declaring the project complete. Amateurs.
